CHRISTIANS SILENCED
A British couple is on trial and could lose their business for having a debate with a Muslim about religion.
In September police arrested Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang, owners of the Bounty House Hotel in Liverpool, after a woman filed a complaint about her conversation with them concerning whether Jesus is the Son of God or just a minor prophet of Islam.
Christian Institute spokesman Mike Judge says the couple has lost 80 percent of their business since the incident. Much of that business came from a local hospital.
"As a result of this case and the criminal charges that have been put against these Christians, the hospital has decided not to send its outpatients there anymore," Mr. Judge explains. "So you can imagine that's had a huge impact on Ben and Sharon's business."
Mr. Judge says the case raises significant free-speech issues - - issues that reinforce concerns about the new hate crimes law that President Barack Obama has signed into effect this week.
"The reason this case is so important is that the freedom to share the gospel in a Christian country, that really needs to be paramount -- and if people can't get involved in a debate about religion, then we are losing our freedom of speech," warns Judge. "And this is not just an issue that we're facing in Britain, but we're facing it in other Western countries as well."

Same thing happened in Chicago at DePaul University, when a (Christian) adjunct professor named Thomas Klocek, who challeneged pro-Hamas/Islamic Jihad students at a “student fair” was fired for intimidation. The professor, who taught at DePaul for 15 years, sued. He lost in April 2009 and is appealing the verdict.
But Dear Leader says that America is NOT a Christian country! He further says that America is "one of the largest muslim countries"!!!!

Religious persecution was a major reason we left that sh*thole. Seems they still have their crazy laws but this time they favor Islam over the Church.

Heh. I agree with you, but historically that position is usually wrong. Except at the end of a long logistical chain, the West typically kicks their robed asses up between their shoulder blades.
In a hundred years, Moslems will either be triumphant or effectively extinct. They have always been the next door serial murderers to every culture they encountered, but they had to do the murders in retail lots and with hand tools.
Now that they are beginning to get their hands on WMD technology produced by successful and advanced societies, Islam will HAVE to be dealt with. With finality.
First though, I think it probable that a few western population centers will go up in radioactive smoke and dust.
This West is not the same West of the 1200’s, 1700s, 1800s or even 1970s. This West has neutered itself. Our leadership (well, the Left at least) has basically thought itself into a box where even violence in the name of self-defense is unacceptable. We can’t even talk about the enemy in plain terms! Classic paralysis by analysis.
The West will not stand up to them with the force needed ever again. We have all the weapons in the world but not the will to use them. All the guns / bombs / other stuff in the world doesn’t mean a thing if they go un-fired.
