Well, you know this guy Corzine doesn’t keep his hair combed and he dresses somewhat slovenly.

Christie is not the greatest. Every time I see his name I can’t help thinking of Christie Whitman.

But it would really be delightful to beat Corzine. And doubly delightful to blame it on Obama.

Obama announced a week or two ago that this looming defeat was not his fault. Blame it on Christie for not following Obama’s orders. But then Obama stepped in and “helped” Christie. So lots of luck shifting the blame again if Christie loses.

The MSM is already blaming Christie for not bowing low enough to Obama in his campaign, but I don’t think that propaganda line will work.

If the Repubs/Conservative win VA, NJ and NY-23 then the WH and their supposedly super-intelligent political team, not to mention Bambi and Plugz, are in deep doo doo. Ha, ha!

"All the movement has been in Christie's direction and the shift has been most pronounced with conservatives and voters in Northwestern New Jersey...

That is a lot of texture to discern from a poll sample of only 341.

Mr. Christie is going to have to win by a fairly large number. If it’s close, the Dems are prepared to cheat their way into the governor’s office with absentee ballots they have squirreled away; just like they did in MN for Al Franken.

Polls schmolls. New Jersey is a blue state, and they’ll count the votes any way the have to in order to keep Corzine.

I think the power of corruption in New Jersey is stronger than the voter unrest.

They are already fixing the votes so any count coming in outside the big fraud cities can be remedied if needed! First they see the numbers, then they add what’s needed via the big DEM cities with oodles of voter fraud. Repubbies have to win BIG to counter this.

I live in NJ and I am hoping against all hope that the urban centers do not cancel out everyone in the suburbs as usually happens. Christie may not be a perfect candidate but he’s saying the right words on taxes and budget cuts and this race plus Virgina and NY-23 might combine and send a shockwave through congress and scare the moderate dems (what few there are) off of voting for health reform and cap’n’tax. Obama has to be shown to have had his coat tails CLIPPED then his remaining power will crater.

Copenhagen effect. All we need now is for Michelle to go to Jersey and make an impassioned plea, in which she recalls watching Corzine's acceptance speech in 2005, while sitting on her Daddy's lap.

If Christie wins in NJ and McDonnell wins in VA, expect a lot of Blue Dog Dems to abandon Pelosi’s healthcare debacle.

These elections are the key to defeating healthcare because it will tell the moderate Dems that they are not safe if they follow the liberal agenda.

The first 20 minutes of Hannity scared the heck out of me last night, he and Frank Luntz did a townhall in NJ and when the blacks in the audience are realizing Marxism isn’t working and well-spoke white people are telling you they support tax the rich and give to the poor we are in deeper trouble than I thought... one person even used the old tax cuts for the rich mantra... the media did their job well in NH the last 8 years.../s

I saw a few minutes of that, some flat out communists in that state. That woman in the front row was all about taking the wealth of others.

My biggest fear is that this isn’t truly a test of the will of the public over government corruption. Its a test of whether a federally funded fraud machine will support at every level of gobernment can crush a revolt against the establishment candidate. Its hard to invest a lot of myself in the outcome. We all know who will count the votes.

Also probably has a lot to do with Chris' appearance on Imus.

Imus: "How tall are you?"

Chris: "5'11""

Imus: "How much do you weigh?"

Chris: "About 550 pounds."

What a hoot!!! Between that and his call for Corzine to "Man up" about it, he scored some big points.

I used to live in NW NJ and it is the most conservative area I think, but never was enough to pull out a republican win, although they do get a gop representative out there usually.

I watched part of it and then turned it off due to disgust of those people. That is why NJ is blue, most of the people in NJ came or fled from NY. The young woman who said she would vote for corzine even if he taxes them because she at least knows what hew is going to do compared to what Christie may do got me. I am so glad I am out of there.

I think you're right brownsfan. I'll be pleasantly surprised if Corzine loses though. Especially since Obambi will have to spin like a top to try to make people believe he wasn't rejected too.

Right said! I'm no Christie fan but Corzine is a nightmare and it'd be WONDERFUL to add NJ, VA, and NY-23 to the R column. I can't wait to see Chrissy Mathews and Keith Olbermann going berzerk Tuesday night.
