From the FBI press release on last nights Dearborn, MI raid-turned-shootout that left radical Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah, aka Christopher Thomas dead:
Abdullah was the leader of part of a group that calls themselves Ummah (the brotherhood), a group of mostly African-American converts to Islam, which seeks to establish a separate Sharia-law governed state within the United States. The Ummah is ruled by Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, formerly known as H. Rapp Brown, who is serving a state sentence in USP Florence, CO, ADMAX, for the murder of two police officers in Georgia.
Interesting to note the active tense used in the release. The use of the phrase is ruled should raise an eyebrow or two for those following the debate over where to relocate the terrorists currently housed at Gitmo. Two of the most mentioned locations being considered by the Obama administration are the federal prison in Standish, Michigan and the federal Administrative Maximum (aka Supermax) prison in Florence, Colorado. One of the lefts core arguments in the debate rests on the belief that the security provided by such a facility would render Gitmos terrorists totally unable to organize and convert fellow prisoners eager to learn from the jihad-masters.
In this case, not only did a domestic Islamic terrorist organization arise from within the walls of our prison system, but the Supermax facility currently serves as the headquarters for this radical group.
It appears FBI Director Robert Muellers relevant concerns about bringing Gitmos terrorists to the United States are not so far-fetched after all.
So far as we know, no terror cells are currently being run from inside Guantanamo.
That's a blast from the past. I can't believe that little sh*t is still alive.
“The Ummah is ruled by Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, formerly known as H. Rapp Brown, who is serving a state sentence in USP Florence, CO, ADMAX, for the murder of two police officers in Georgia.”
Why have jails/prisons if these inmates can “rule” an uprising or radical group from inside??
Solitary for these dudes, or is that cruel and unusual?
I wonder how this is possible. Is this guy getting contraband cell phones and the like?
Yea, man, far out.
Exactly.
That really is a blast from the past.
I’m surprised that Eric Holder is letting the FBI arrest these people. There must be a few people left in the agency who are more concerned about doing their duty than pleasing their Master, since there has been quite a lot of this sort of activity in the past couple of months.

Who’s surprised here? Better to deport the whole lot of them.

Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin (جميل عبد الله الامين) (Born October 4, 1943, as Hubert Gerold Brown), also known as H. Rap Brown, came to prominence in the 1960s as chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and later the Justice Minister of the Black Panther Party. He is perhaps most famous for his proclamation during that period that "violence is as American as cherry pie", as well as once stating that "If America don't come around, we're gonna burn it down". He is currently serving a life sentence for homicide.
I thought somebody had snuffed that scumbag.
He spent five years (19711976) in the Attica Prison after a robbery conviction. While in prison, Brown converted to Islam and changed his name to Jamil Abdullah al-Amin. After his release, he opened a grocery store in Atlanta, Georgia and became a Muslim spiritual leader and community activist preaching against drugs and gambling in Atlanta's West End neighborhood.
He also became the leader of Ummah, "a group of mostly African-American converts to Islam, which seeks to establish a separate Sharia-law governed state within the United States."
I don’t mind him being on US soil. I mind him being above it.
I hate to say this but right after 9/11, the fact that so many inmates get converted to Islam brought some concern. This could be where the next “civil war” may come from...horrible to contemplate...got to buy more ammo...just saying...
Brown was young and angry. He wrote in Die Nigger Die (H. Rapp Brown’s book) that President Lyndon Johnson was an “ugly m-—— f-——.”
Is H. Rapp Brown a FOO? a FOWA?
Hey, remember the nurse killer, Richard Speck, was getting a sex-change operation while in prison, paid by the tax payer, when he died. How about giving the tax payers a break by cutting that s**t out?
Hmmmm. Me too. A Black Panther punk from the 60's.

From the Free Jamil al Amin/H. Rap Brown facebook page. date 2/21/09
As many of you may have heard, Jamil Al-Amin has been moved to what is known in prison as "the hole". He was strip searched and placed in a cell with no bed, no control over the lights and no shower. They have taken his Qur'an and all of his other personal property. No information has been given as to why this transfer was made, but nothing could justify this inhumane treatment.
some call them heroes.
Pro'ly in the eyes of a liberal judge, but note the operative word in that clause is "and." Cruel it might be but is it unusual too? If not, the clause doesn't fit. No such thing as a cruel or unusual clause. Let's get more of these punishments usual.
2) "violence is as American as cherry pie"
Say WHAT????
Hmm, I wonder if good ole H. Rap ever crossed paths with Bill Ayers, or any of the other wonderful Obozo cronies? Just a thought.
Interesting, wasn’t the leader of the recent Islam prayer gather In DC a terrorist lawyer. His Facebook said they wanted to islaminize democracy.
Don’t let Holder know he’s in prison or he’ll retroactively drop the charges.
watched National geographic and other channels who have shown prisons and all of them are ruled by the inmates not the guards..
They have the room to walk around , to mix etc.
It is high time that the wardens take back the prisons and stop letting gangs run them.
Once they are in the US, they will have Constitutional rights, among them to communicate to their lawyers, who in turn can pass communications to others.
no not cruel.
put them in a call with no interaction for the rest of their miserable lives.
course I expect the lefty lunatics again complain about how the civil rights is being ignored
well sorry lefty loon as far as I am concerned when you kill someone you take their civil rights away thus you should have yours taken away so cut the wishy washy lefty crap
There are probably allot more of these types already on our streets.
He should be put to sleep.
He's a man who is full of hate as witnessed by the way he executed the cop who served him with a warrant.

No Doubt a blast from the past, hiding under a muzzie name and running an organized crime family from a supermax prison cell. Well, ah’ll be. H. Rap Brown. Former Black Panther big wig? Buddy of people like Ayers and Dorn?
HE was part of the “Student Non Violent Coordinating Committee”. I’m almost positive that that became the Students for a Democratic Society and the Weathermen.
Those lawyers can go to jail too.
Why can’t we run our supermax prisons like the Japanese run their medium security prisons......
AHey, they like to hold up Mexico as an example of humane treatment because they don’t have the death penalty, lets do it like them. No, because then if you have enough money you can break oout.
H. Rapp Brown
That’s a blast from the past.
+1
Better yet, how about a firing squad with 6 shells x 25 cents, equals $1.50 to rid the planet & the U.S. of these vermin. They can get an early trip to their 75 muzzie virgins.
Only a traitor RAT would want to bring these terrorists into the U.S. Ya payin tenchin??

Absolutely Right....We need Gitmo and the rules of Enforcement there !
Yep.
IIRC, the Feds are trying to “jam” cell phones in the prisons. They realize that many inmates have them and are continuing to run their criminal enterprises from inside prison. Imho, day late, dollar short, but better late than never.
Why would a black man in jail or otherwise want to be a muslim and attack the only country that has given them a home in the best nation on the planet?
H. Rapp is still rappin from Supermax. So yeah, what a great idea, send in a bunch of jihadis so they can morse code each other all night and day.
Would love to see a “sanctioned escape from Gitmo” happen about twice a week. 10-15 Jihadi’s on a leaky raft, trailing blood and chum in that area’s Sharks of Allah waters.
You are so right. Haven’t heard that name in decades!
