The youtube video about America Awakening passed the 10,000 view mark today after a month. Thanks to everyone for watching. Please keep passing its message around if you are so inclined.

AWAKEN O AMERICA, YOU LIBERTY IS CALLING

There is a great evil that has beset our nation and is attempting to destroy it, from within and without. We have the most radical, un-American, and dangerous administration and congress in history. Our forefathers are rolling over in their graves, and if the founders were alive, I believe those men would have rebelled outright against such radical, unconstitutional departures from the constitution and intent they vouchsafed for us with their blood.

At the same time, and now coincident with it, there is a great awakening occurring as Americans everywhere realize how close we are to losing the liberty and way of life passed down to us.

This video attempts to capture some of that.

In order to be successful, we must find and elect constitutionally oriented candidates who will work with us to:

Jeff, truly beautiful. My heart broke when the picture of the little boy receiving the flag came on the screen. It was poignant timing in the song where she sings I will hear your call and I will answer you. Truly heartbreaking and proud at the same time. I do understand about that picture.

That picture has always touched my heart deeply, and I put it in there at that point for that reason. There are many pics in the video coupled with the wonderful music that touch the heart...not the least of which is the last picture with the little boy pledging allegiance to the small flag he has afixed to the tree.

Another question in regard to the photo of the little boy receiving the flag. I understand the circumstances behind such a photo but do you have any background for it?

On March 27, just a few weeks before Marc Golczynski was to return home from his second tour in Iraq -- one he volunteered for -- he was shot on patrol and killed by enemy fire in al-Aanbar province.

During a moment at the burial, Christian stepped forward to receive the flag for his father. The expression of grief on his young face was captured in a photo and became a powerful symbol for soldiers, their families and anyone who sees it.

When asked about his dad by ABC News' Chris Cuomo, Christian said, "He was a hero. He helped our country."

Just days before he left for his second tour, Marc sent a letter to his family that would be his epitaph

"Due to our deep desire to finish the job we started, we fight and sometimes die so that our families don't have to. Stand beside us because we would do it for you. Because it is our unity that's enabled us to prosper the nation," Marc wrote.

Since Marc's death, letters of support and gifts have poured in for the family.

But for all that his father may now represent to others, to Christian, Dad is the man who spent time with him and played, and who was teaching him about being a soldier.

"He helped our country and tried to stop terrorists," Christian said.

Jeff, I collect photography. Vintage american images, world images and so on have done so for close to 25 years now.
Just about all of the photos in my collection are by unknown photographers and many are quite moving.
This one really ranks up there with one of the most moving I have ever seen.
I really appreciate the effort you made getting me not only the back story but the interview from the photographer.
