Hey, BL!
I was celebrating the big win by the Yankees, hehe.
I know... I don't know what happened to Newt. He made a mistake and now he can't back down.

That really is hugh, not to mention series.
Pataki’s reputation as a ‘moderate’ Republican endorsing the Conservative will bring more people in for Hoffman.

Aloha Victoria!
Yeah, Newt, whom I like and admire, has screwed up on this one. He ought to have polled the area before making the endorsement. He'd have discovered there's a lot of Damn Yankees in them thar hills.
Speaking of Damn Yankees....I'd hoped (and still do) that this would be a short series. Doesn't look like it though and there's something about the Boys of November that brings back bitter memories and doesn't ring true.

Yeah, I'm a damn Yankee myself, and proud of it, LOL.
NY23 has been conservative forever so I don't understand Newt's endorsement of an extreme liberal like Scozzafava. Newt dropped the ball big time. Let's see what happens on election day, but I sense that Hoffman is going to win.
Gotta go, poor people like me need to work for a living, lol.
Nighty night, and always fun chatting with ya.

I don't know what happened to Newt.Maybe he was overated? That Contract with America was a long time ago, and Frank Luntz claims his focus group polling was responsible for most of it, IIRC.
Buying into the man made global warming argument wasn't too smart. Pushing for electronic health records wasn't too smart either because it's a double edge sword. It's good for eliminating redundancy and having a complete medical history as well as avoiding medication errors, but there's too much personal information that can be accessed by folks with bad intentions.

Pushing for electronic health records wasn't too smart either because it's a double edge sword. My brother runs a hospital IT dept. back east, says the same thing.
Unlike 'end user' protocols and agreements that go with the arms trade there are none in the medical society or if there are they're not verifiable or enforceable.
