What happened to Obama's massive network of grassroots activists?

As right-wing protesters dominated the news this summer, it would have seemed the perfect opportunity for Obama's much-touted organizers to drown out the conservatives with some coordinated agitation of their own. But they barely made a ripple. Where were they? And how could such a formidable grassroots operation-having just put Obama in office-fall quiet so quickly?

Where are the grassroots supporters? Where do small foreign credit card donors go once the computer application that generated them {donald duck, mickey mouse, crusader rabbit...} exits, and the icon is then just sitting on the desktop?

[besides just sitting there in wait for the next election cycle]

I thought everyone knew.... Obama’s grassroots money came from two places that were anything but (american) grass roots; Soros and powerful interests, and a network of money funneling from China and foreign interests

Bush is gone, they won. Now they are waiting for their reward, 1) stimulus, 2) GM bailout, 3) free health care paid by those rich greedy republicans.

Sounds like I am kidding, but it’s natural political dynamics. Many freepers didnt get this result of losing.

My guess is that most of them are going to be too lazy to actually turn out and vote for him again. At least that is what I am hoping for.

That army was just Facebook “friends” and bandwagoneers that fell for a slogan and lots of hype and the opportunity to make “history”.

This detail stuff is just, you know, like boring and junk.

They are ACORN & SEIU. As far as I’m concerned, they’re still around.

Obama's much-touted organizers to drown out the conservatives with some coordinated agitation of their own.

Clearly this edict was meant to cause social unrest and incite racial tensions where applicable. Not very presidential behavior whatsoever. In fact, thuggery advocated by a world leader.

Uh, well, uh, the is no grassroots movement, it’s all funded by SEIU, ACORN, trial lawyers, enviromental groups (Saudi/Iran) and Soros (globalists).

Their thinly veiled lies are easy to spot, go to a Moveon.org rally, it’s comical.

Secretly they are suffering from some buyer's remorse. But, The Grassroots will only admit to that in their Midnight Confessions.

You may not have noticed this but astroturf does not actually grow. It just sits there and then after a while the real grass starts poking through.
