They are scared that conservatives could actually emerge and take back the GOP.
While they might pretend to say that moderates are good for the GOP, they know moderate republicans are beatable. They really are scared of what is happening in NY-23.

It says Moveon and the GOP have the same agenda. Nuff said. Go Hoffman, Go Palin!
To: Night Hides Not
MoveOn.Org was founded as the home of the Monica Lewinsky wing of the National Socialist Democrats.
They supported the bribing of a witness with corporate funds to lie under oath. And they pretend to not understand how none of the other legal actions against the Clintons bore fruit in court.
Censure and move on, eh? When is that damned censure coming? Oh that’s right, they drop calls for censure after the Liar in Chief was safe.

the individualists from the elitists.

This is obviously very upsetting to them.

They are more scared that conservatives might actually leave the Republican Party and form a viable Conservative Party.
Then all their decades of conditioning that “Republican = Evil” will go for naught.

lol. Or take over the GOP and change the name to the Conservative Party.
Let the “moderates” and Blue Dog Dems set up their own party, the Moderate Party... to be nicknamed “The Road Kill Party”.

Hofmman is like Palin. Oh no, horror of horrors. Palin is so dangerous and loony.
If you ask 100 people who oppose Palin what specifically is the problem with her? I’ll bet 99 couldn’t even come up with a real answer. Same with Cheney.

While they might pretend to say that moderates are good for the GOP, they know moderate republicans are beatable. They really are scared of what is happening in NY-23. More to the point, the definition of a "moderate Republican" is "a Republican who will vote with the Democrats on bills that are important to the Democrats".

I'm tired of all this grim "THIRD PARTIES-BAD BAD BAD!!" business! WE THE PEOPLE are tired of voting for people with R's next to their names, when they should have D's or great big L's for liberals!! Rather than have a third party, we should have an independent, conservative organization that will ensure that there is a conservative running in every Republican primary, ESPECIALLY where there is a Republican RINO incumbent.
The time to eliminate the RINO is in the Primary, because if we don't have somebody with the funding and experience to beat a RINO in the Primary, then we sure as hell are not going to beat him as a third party in the general election.

there answer would be because they don’t like her.
to which one should say, you don’t have to like her, but just why don’t you think she’s qualified. It would really be interesting to see what reasons they give.
I know one man who said before the election that he didn’t think as a woman she should be running for vp. To be fair he said that he didn’t think it was a job for women.
