LMAO! The abstracts are junk and the "university" apparently doesn't exist. The address is near the Parco de' Medici on the way to Leonardo da Vinci; aside from some suburbs and industrial parks (and the worst Sheraton Hotel ever that I happened to be in two weeks ago) there isn't much out there.

There are quite a few Catholic scientists and grass-roots folks working in the biblical creation movement. I heard recently that Michael Behe attended Dr. John Sanford's talk on genetic entropy and appeared very impressed by his data. That's interesting because the level of error catastrophe found in modern evolutionary biology assessments of the human genome virtually demands a young earth.

Anyway, it's nice if the wider Catholic community is returning to its roots. There is no evidence of opposition to the biblical creation position on a young earth prior to the last few hundred years within Christendom. It's time for the Darwinian/uniformitarian fiasco to fade into history.

Note the .org name... also note the first comment below the article mentions dropping the university a line seeking more info. To answer the skeptics - it's normal for university contacts to not have a lot of info on a conference they are hosting, that is being run by a 3rd party. Maybe if you dealt with more science conferences you would know that...

The fact that this event has been publicized by so many Catholic websites and news organization should have given you pause long enough to do your homework and avoid embarrassment. Who knows. All I know is that multiple Catholic news services have covered listed the event at the University in question, so that is probably a pretty good indication that the uniniversity exists.

That said, you apparently have never read (or quite obviously written) an abstract, so your assessment in that regard is worthless.
