Her name is Somer Thompson. She was 7 years old. She's dead.
In her last minutes of life, this beautiful little girl suffered inhuman acts of brutality. She was taken and murdered by one of the monsters who live and work among us one of the pieces of human debris, the living mounds of filth, who are allowed to breathe the same air, live in the same apartment buildings and work the same jobs as genuine human beings. They look like us, but they're not human at all; they're animals who walk on two legs, with hearts full of black emptiness and minds full of perversion and violence.
Somer Thompson disappeared a week ago last Monday. She left school to walk home and was never seen alive again. By Wednesday of last week, ABC News was reporting that the density of registered sex offenders living within walking distance of Somer's home is so great that "when their homes are represented by pins on a digital map they create a cluster so thick it overlaps in places." On Thursday, searchers found Somer's body in a Georgia landfill. By Friday, authorities had interrogated and ruled out as suspects all 161 sex offenders living in a five-mile radius of the house that will never again feel like a home to Somer Thompson's parents...

Idiot.
Fully half the sex-offense convictions every year are first-time convictions (federal stats).
But perople like this want you to know your child is safe if you know of every single registered offender in the area.
It's sort of like identifying half the landmines in a field and thinking it's now safe for your child.
There's a word often applied to the children of such stupid parents.
Victim.
Thanks for posting this. I have not seen the Kinsey Effect DVD, I am not sure I could watch it. There is a new breed of sexual predators out there, young children & teens who are going to school with our children. It is evil beyond compare. Two bullets are a waste, do the job with one.
Hmmm... where have we seen such camps before? Where the inmates can live separate but equal lives -- for as long as they last?
I guess that's permitted under a living, breathing constitution.
I was speaking to a relative in law enforcement and she said that the really terrifying thing is that the child was just snatched; that is, it was a crime of opportunity, and cases like that are often harder to solve because there isn’t any long term pattern and it may not necessarily involve a local person. I did read that someone had tried to snatch a child in that same area about a week earlier, however, so perhaps it is someone who lives or is visiting there and not simply someone who was just passing through.
That said, I think we need to go back to the death penalty for rape and sexual offenses against children, and we certainly need to go back to it for murder. The author is right: these people don’t “get better,” no matter how much treatment they receive. They just get quiet about it until they have the opportunity to do it again.
For each poster on FR who will demand heavier punishment for these types of crimes there are that many out there who still claim that if these criminals have to take a few pills (voluntarily of course) then their child lust will be under control. These do gooders protect their own kids by living in secure communities and sending them to private “safe” schools. So the trailer kids remain as easy prey while the psychiatrists opine.
Hmmm Pills to cure evil?
Prescibed by athiests?
Yeah right and I have sexy long legs and natural hair color.
And I thought seeing 3 perv houses from my front porch was a lot.
I wonder what Charles Bronson would do.
Why waste precious ammunition.
LOL so true! I guess I was thinking of the smell of gunpowder in the morning. I think the offending body part belongs in the noose too.
This little girl actually lived in a nice area and not in a trailer park. Maybe that will hit home for some people now.
So far there’s no pill and I doubt that there ever will be (short of cyanide, of course). Someone I was talking with said that one of the disturbing things is that sex crimes against children are actually on the rise, and even women are involved in them now. She said that no one knows if this is just better reporting, or if it is an actual fact reflecting a shift in social attitudes. Certainly, people like Obama’s education czar have been trying to gain acceptability for children as sex objects, and I fear that they have had some success.
The only constant factor, btw, is pornography. People here are going to run out and defend it tooth and nail, I can promise you, but the fact is that watching pornography, sharing pornography (some of these perverts have thousands of photos of child porn) and even making it constitute the one common feature in the lives of all these people. Supposedly one of the reasons that women are becoming more involved in child sex abuse is that women now watch more pornography, and a lot of it focuses on the very young.
That said, I think we need to go back to the death penalty for rape and sexual offenses against children, and we certainly need to go back to it for murder.

Yes.
Too quick, too painless. Stake them out, and build fires on their abdomens. Old Apache torture.
Yes, I generalized about trailer people but for the most part kids on the lower socio-economic scale are the victims in these cases. I agree with your thoughts on porn being a major contributor.
Many years ago, a young boy was attacked and his attacker was found to have fled to Texas. I watched on TV when the attacker was being returned to N.O. at the airport. As he was being walked through the concourse, a man left a wall pay phone and walked up to him and shot him. It was the boy’s father. ANYONE hurt my family like that and their @ss is mine. I have never understood why that does not happen more often. If you were standing there when the offense happens, wouldn’t you give your life to protect your child??? Why should a week, or a month, or a year make any difference???
...”That said, I think we need to go back to the death penalty for rape and sexual offenses against children, and we certainly need to go back to it for murder”...
I agree.
The “opining” of the psychological world has played a gigantic role in these kinds of problems which are so rampant today.
I saw that man shoot the guy that kidnapped and molested his young son. If everyone did that to the people that commit those types of crimes the world would be a better place. I agree with you 100%.
Hmm, I bet no one ever tried to molest his kids.
I suppose that if it had been Your child, you would also have this ‘live and let live’ attitude.
FACT - these predators do not rehab. It is through the efforts of the left/liberals/bleeding hearts/too spineless to execute, that the death penalty (so richly deserved in these cases) is not routinely and quickly applied through law and due process.
It can be argued whether or not capital punishment is a deterent or not. But what it DOES do is remove the evil person from society. Lacking the will to do that, then yes, society should lock them up for life, throw away the key.
Anything less puts more innocents at risk. Those who advocate the release of these offenders are just as guitly when the offender kills/molests/rapes again.
What is wrong with people?!!! Why do they let their children walk ANYWHERE alone, especially at NIGHT? If you let your children walk outside alone, you are throwing them away. It’s as simple as that.
