It was a tongue-in-cheek prediction rather than a for-sure fact, but the APA is an ultra liberal professional organization which in fact was very critical of some of its member psychologists who had helped with the interrogation of the GITMO terrorists - they’ll very likely take the politically correct don’t-prejudge-the-terrorists position rather than the patriotic do-whatever-it-takes-to-keep-America-safe approach any time (I’m a former member who was sick of their leftwing biases ever since they gave Teddy Kennedy a special award for his fine humanitarian activities years ago - but shortly after Chappaquiddick).......
