Steele demands investigation into alleged WH perks for top Dem donors

Republicans on Wednesday called for an investigation into allegations that President Barack Obama gave top donors special access to the White House.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) demanded an investigation into a report published in The Washington Times that top donors to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) had been rewarded with access to privileged White House tours, behind-the-scenes briefings and other perks.

"The seriousness of this issue requires an immediate investigation looking into the degree and details of fundraising efforts between the White House and DNC, whether there was any quid pro quo offered to donors, and the names of White House officials who were involved in such activities," Steele said Wednesday in a statement.

"The White House should also immediately release the names of donors who have accessed these perks or received special briefings from administration officials," Steele said. "Candidate Obama pledged to clean up the muddy waters of Washington, but President Obama has jumped in head first.”

Wonder if those perks included a low-level flight over NYC in Air Force One?

Nancy & Harry will jump right on that!

Right after State Media presses the issue with a couple of in-depth investigation reports.

Oh how I wish for the days when this type of issue would be a concern for me.

We are heading towards a dictatorship which would offer lots of perks to the collaborators.

If any tax[ayer funds were used in any of this that could be a huge WH scandal. Nero fiddling while Rome burns analogy.

I think that most presidents have done this, at least in terms of the tours/stays in the Lincoln Bedroom, etc. I haven’t heard of them getting privileged briefings, which seems a bit much.

Obama’s ties to Acorn should be “a huge WH scandal” too. Still waiting.

Ending the annual WH Prayer Day (begun under Truman) while establishing the first Muslim Prayer Day and snubbing the Dalai Lama were also “a bit much”. Just some of the benefits of having a Marxist president.

I am shocked, shocked that VIP contributors are getting special treatment! How many hundreds of years has this gone on? Business as usual.

This just might be why many Americans are finally awakening from their slumber.

Mr. Steele,

I want an investigation into why you and the RNC keep pouring money into a lost cause in NY-23 supporting DEDE, when that money could and should be going into Ca to support the nominee there in his special election.
