Speaking through his attorney, the officer who was captured on a cell phone video last month hitting an unarmed college student with a baton insisted Monday that the student was "responsible" for the violent confrontation because he combatively resisted the officer's orders.
Attorney Terry Bowman, offering the officers' side of events for the first time, said veteran officer Kenneth Siegel had done nothing inappropriate when he and a fellow officer, Steven Payne Jr., took Phuong Ho, 20, into custody. Ho's roommate recorded the arrest, which was made public by the Mercury News this weekend. "Mr. Ho is responsible for his conduct, and he is responsible for not taking lawful directives from a police officer," said Bowman. "He is being combative and noncompliant, and he raises the stakes of the game."

4 tries in varying ways, but no joy.
Try again, FRiend.
The link at the top *IS* “good”, but you will lose your lunch watching it.
We PAY these thugs?!?
Some internal review board will say that everything the “officer” did was correct. Either that, or the cop will be slapped on the hands. The cop will promptly go on “stress disability”, and take an early cushy retirement on the taxpayer’s teat.
Reminds me of what happened to Todd Chism in Spokane last year. Guy gets his card stolen, thief uses it to buy child pron, cops trace card back to original card owner and raid his house at 4am. Only, there was no cp to be found. Anywhere. Cops knew Todd reported said card stolen prior to raid, and ignored it. Raided anyway. Later they said “we did nothing wrong” when it was discovered they effed up. Now Todd is suing for 20 million. I hope he gets all of it and much more from those thugs.

Poor language, poor thinking. Combative? Hardly. Marines in combat are combative. 'Stakes of the GAME'? So, what is it, combat or a game? Well, I guess those hundred pound Vientnames math majors are just tough SOBs.
What a crappy video.
