Great ad. I know it sounds petty, but I wish they had another picture of him.

Can someone please take a picture of Hoffman where he doesn’t look like a brain-damage case? It’s a testament to conservative voters’ loyalty to principle that they look past the confused, crooked-looking smile in the photo to the quite sensible man himself.
To: jersey117
I'm sure they will work on that.
And how about this (fed up) very Average Joe's VICTORY POSE on the stage the evening of 3 November! That is going to be absolutely WILD. Talk about rockin' their world! Sheesh. ;-)

Yes. My wife and I said the same thing. The picture they are using makes him look like a geek. How about a good hunting picture wearing a flannel shirt?

We Freepers, average people, really pissed off at Obama and D.C., who are going to have to run for office in the thousands (never even dreaming it until now),
are ALL going to have to go through this image-makeover I am afraid! LOL!
Sounds like a good business to open, though. ;-)
GO DOUG!! REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE

Not all Conservatives are into killing bunnies and bambis for fun, as you and your wife appear to be.

Who the double L in Hoffman’s crew decided on that photo for his campaign? That’s the one they use on all his ads, etc.
It’s terrible!
I watched him on Beck - there’s no reason they couldn’t have a far better photo =
These dumb mistakes can cost a lot of votes...

You both took my post wrong. I am 100% a Hoffman supporter and have sent him a check. I’m an upstate NY’er and know what the voters like. Image is very important. I really think they could use a better picture and am not judging Doug on his appearance.
Hey ‘balls’, I hope your comment was sarc/. If not, back off and go cook up a veggie burger. You accuse my wife and I of killing bambis and bunnies for fun? For fun??? I don’t care how long you’ve been here. It doesn’t give you the right to be an a$$hole and attack my wife’s sensitivity to baby animals.
I await your apology.............

He needs an exciting makeover. No, just a better photo = which would be easy to get...
Now that we, who are on his side, see what an absolutely awful photo this is - we need to all freep his campaign office NOW - and get them to change it QUICK Elections are lost on smaller things than this

can you give us an address to his CAmpaign HQ - we need to mass email them and tell them to get a better photo NOW -
I watched him on with Beck = he's fine - they just need to get a better photo.
Good gravy, I'd almost suspicion he has a dem/rat mole on his campaign staff that put this photo out there

Be careful maine-iac7 or next they’ll be accusing of killing baby animals for the “fun” of it. I see that you too, know what we northerners like to see in a candidate.

They call Washington, D.C. "Hollywood for ugly people".
In that case, regardless of how the guy looks, he still has a chance. A fighting good chance I might add.

I like the ad too. I agree that his smile looks a little weird in the pic, almost an embarrassed smile? I’d prefer a FULL smile, or else a serious face, I think.

I just meant he should look more exciting [less dull; better smile] in the photo, which shouldn't be too hard to do. So I agree with you. And you're right ... I always thought if Obama's mole thing on his face was twice the size it is, he'd never be president.

The comment was somewhat tongue in cheek (but I despise hunting for sport and have no sympathy at all when they shoot themselves or each other by accident).
By the way, I do eat meat and I do not believe how long I’ve been on FR makes any difference.
