Grayson apologizes for 'whore' comment

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Florida Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson issued a written apology Tuesday evening for a comment for a month-old comment that has stirred controversy on Capitol Hill in recent days.

During a September radio interview, Grayson called Linda Robertson, an aide to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke who has also worked as a lobbyist, a "K Street whore."

In a statement issued Tuesday evening, Grayson said his comment was inappropriate.

"I offer my sincere apology," Grayson said in the statement, "I did not intend to use a term that is often, and correctly, seen as disrespectful of women.

"This characterization of Ms. Robertson, made during a radio interview last month in the context of the debate over whether the Federal Reserve should be independently audited, was inappropriate, and I apologize."

Just hours earlier, a spokesman for Grayson had defended the comment in a statement to CNN.

"She actually questioned his understanding of the difference between fiscal and monetary policy," Grayson spokesman Todd Jurowski said in the earlier statement. "She had the audacity to attack a congressman who used to be an economist. She's a career lobbyist who used to work for Enron and advocates for whatever she gets paid to promote."

He seems to be apologizing for using an un-PC word rather than for insulting Robertson. In other words, this doesn’t seem like much of an apology.

Candid photograph of Alan Grayson:

You know, for an ignoramus Lefty total a-hole, Grayson sure does apologize a lot, something Rush Limbaugh never needs to do.

Well she did work on K street and she was a lobbyists for Enron, but I have no knowledge of her after hours business there are what the charges were for if any. But I do know the business of most of those on K street and its not to promote the general welfare of the country.

Look at how CNN's editor tried to downplay what Grayson said, producing sloppy copy along the way...

"Florida Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson issued a written apology Tuesday evening for a comment for a month-old comment that has stirred controversy on Capitol Hill in recent days."

It's a MONTH OLD...who cares!

It’s amazing - the psychos on the left are in full-blown crazy mode and the media’s not saying a word. Had to be a lawsuit threatened to make this looney apologize. He should wear a sign around his neck that says “I’m sorry” and point to it everytime he opens his yap.

Grayson said “I did not intend to use a term that is often, and correctly, seen as disrespectful of women.” I should have said “K Street C*nt”

This guy has finally had a fellow dumocrap tell him to “Shut up, you are not helping the cause.”

” Grayson needs professional help..he is obviously mentally ill “

Grayson’s bizarre behavior has gone way beyond having a loose tongue or a poor sense of decorum.
He does not appear to have any kind of self control or maturity.
If a Republican behaved this way-they would be forced to resign.
And get professional help.
Last week on the Obama sanctioned Chris Matthews “ news “ show-Grayson said that Dick Cheney had blood dripping from his teeth,
Cheney hated Barry because Barry didn’t like to shoot people in the face and that Cheney transforms himself into a bat and flies away.
It’s only a matter of time before Grayson says something that no apology can walk back.
Grayson is the Democrat Party.
And they are playing with fire by pretending he’s normal.

Grayson said “I did not intend to use a term that is often, and correctly, seen as disrespectful of women.”

Perhaps he didn't want to put it any more categorically than that because, after all, wh*res are women, too, who are just doing their jobs, and he wouldn't want to anger the feminists who support them.

If you look up “nutcase” in the dictionary, you will see this picture. (Not really, but it should be that way.)

Once when my sister and I were teenagers she threw a scrub brush at me and I chased her up to the neighbors house where she hid, when asked by our parents why she threw the brush, she looked directly at me and said, “He provoked me to wrath!”

I fell on the floor laughing and she went back after the brush.
