The media’s been pointing to the balloon boy story as the ne plus ultra of celebrity-seeking scumbaggery, but there’s an even better example around, isn’t there?
Honestly, at this point, the most rational interpretation of his behavior is that he’s trying to get people to hate him.

I said it 5 months ago. Levi Palin will be dead within 5 years. His body will be found in a seedy hotel on La Ciegena Blvd or Sunset in Los Angeles. Cause of death either hanging or drug overdose. Or he may well be murdered by a very poorly chosen associate. It is really quite sad, given that his progeny is Sarah’s grandchild. But this man will come to a bad end. Didn’t Levi already “leak” gossip about Palin in his Vanity Fair interview. Sounds to me, he’s trying to threaten to spread rumors unless Palin pays him a portion of her book sales.

I’m fairly sure that if Sarah runs her team will (hopefully) be one step ahead on the Levi issue. He is going to make stuff up when the time comes. It’s best to assume that. I’m no strategist but one idea would be for Todd or Track to angrily deny the lie and ask why ACORN wasn’t news but this is. And of course for Sarah to brush it off with a smile.
