A report released this morning says waste, fraud and mismanagement by state and local governments cost California taxpayers more than $600 million so far this year.
The California Taxpayers' Association used media reports to compile its figures, but only 49 of the 117 examples were quantifiable, so the actual amount is likely much higher

Way too low. Most of what goes on on in Sacramento is fraud.
There is fraud from top to bottom. The whole state needs to have the reset button hit and start all over.
Most of those programs are not needed for Americans the Whole thing is a waste.
There is no way on the face of the earth this number isn’t low by a factor of ten.
Oh, those wacky bureaucrats, taking 10% of our pay, plus workmen’s comp and sales tax!
What’s a few billion amongst friends?
Sacramento needs to be cleaned out.
