We need to start blasting all his phones, emails , twitter account, facebooks, and writing to the newspapers. Even if you don't live in his state you need to still be active on them and tell them no business in West Virginia if Byrd votes in favor of Obama's reckless Obamacare and cap n trade.

You really think that Sheets is still lucid?

I don’t know if he’s lucid, but I think he is susceptible to pressure.

I think he is too old and sock actually to be in charge. His stuff is running the place. If they are liberals you are wasting your breath.

Tell Senator Byrd there’s no more money to spend to give him “maybe giving him a couple more months of life”.

"You really think that Sheets is still lucid?"

It could be argued he never was lucid.

Without help I think it takes him at least 45 minutes to tie his tie. I hope he can still hear the phone ring.

He’s already shown that he would oppose Obama on cap and trade ~ at least with a vote ~ I haven’t heard a peep out of him in years, since he shamed himself on the floor of the capital.

Regardless, WV is a unique state, I don’t think that Byrd likes Obama (for whatever reason) and, obviously, cap and tax is not good for the mountaineer state.

It can’t hurt to call his office.

I think Nelson is the other guy that we need to pick off the majority list.

Maybe Carper?

I don’t know the Dems down in NC.

(Not to be gauche, but - Oh, what the heck, why not?)

A lot more good could be done in the Senate if more of his colleagues were to emulate the shining example of Senator Byrd's contributions to our Nation (that is, by emulating his persistent vegetative state)...

Just don't overdo it (like the idiot from Massachusetts did)...

Trying to cut the vote in the Senate down to below 60 will only result in the rule change to majority vote. This means only 50 needed plus the VP. At this time the Chicago thug mentality will be invoked and King Obama will threaten the RATS to vote or else.

You mean high blood pressure. The guy should be in a nursing home. His mind is completely gone and his body is following. He is “DEAD MAN NOT WALKING”

Too funny. My kids love Veggie Tales; maybe we could nominate Byrd as “Sheets the Potato” and start a whole new cartoon series.

Sheets will be dead in a year (officially, that is.) What will faxes and phone calls do—intimidate him? Better to threaten him with taking his name off of over structure in WVa! That might at least get his remaining attention.

Sad. They will name a room after him. BFD. Imagine spending the last best years of your life in Congress. He will die and be forgotten almost immediately. Sad.

Won’t the new healthcare plan leave him without medical care?

He doesn’t like him because Byrd believes the Constitution means something, unlike Obozo Obongo.
