They also have a building nearby, all kitted up with a simulated flight deck on the roof and island, too; the building interior features a hangar, and it also has elevators.

The building a facility for training the deck crews in the proper moving of aircrart, etc, in a controlled environment.

Rare Russian CV footage (I guess of the Kusnetsov...?)

Su-35k doing touch-and-go’s...lot of good stuff.

This is mostly the same gear going to the Chinese.

The Chinese are laying 2-3 additional aircraft carrier hulls, and the neo-Soviets (russians) are laying 3 hulls and plan for another 4, so they will have 8 carriers in 2016.

SONOBUOY PING!

Click on pic for past Navair pings.

Post or FReepmail me if you wish to be enlisted in or discharged from the Navair Pinglist.
The only requirement for inclusion in the Navair Pinglist is an interest in Naval Aviation.
This is a medium to low volume pinglist.

Easy. Take Taiwan.

Maybe as a first step but control of the South China Sea and the Strait of Malacca sometime in the next twenty years is a more likely Chicom power projection.
