For Kerry, a growing role on foreign policy stage (warning! this will likely offend you!)
Washington Post ^ | 23 October 2009 | Karen DeYoung

Five years after his painful loss to George W. Bush, ending a presidential campaign in which he was accused of being an Iraq war defeatist who was too willing to talk to America's adversaries, Sen. John F. Kerry has finally found his place in the foreign policy spotlight.

Not only has President Obama advanced many of the Massachusetts Democrat's ideas but Vice President Biden's election vacated for Kerry the chairmanship of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the legislative branch's leading foreign policy pulpit.

Kerry: "I lied to congress in a time of war to slur the American troops and tank morale and support for the war in aid and comfort to the enemy and was never tried for the crime of treason. I even met with the enemy on foreign soil to 'negotiate'. Ha ha hahaha haaaaa...."

Seeing the name Kerry in a headline irritates me and gets worse after that. Wish someone would wipe that smug smile off his face. Maybe that is something Hillary can do as Kerry is now the de facto Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense not to mention National Security advisor all rolled into one.

Perfect assignment for Hillary or Bill — wipe the smirk off the coward’s face. :)

I hope he’s careful handling all those papers as Chairman. Wouldn’t want him to get a paper cut and put in for another Purple Heart.

Didn’t he sustain an eye injury when one of the seeds exploded in his hastily rolled joint?

Oh yes, I remember, Kerry told a group of students to study hard or else they’d be stuck serving (”with losers,” implied) in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The man is such a delusional, elitist horse’s _ss.

I wonder where he keeps his happy hat now that he's Chairman?

Kerry (thinking): “Hmm.. Obama apologizes for America. Real popular everywhere around the world.. hell, I can do better than that! Where’s my Senate Foreign Relations Committee testimony. Here it is.. U.S. war crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command — yeah! — the fact is U.S. crimes threaten ourselves, not reds.. America placed a cheapness on the lives of orientals — Yeah! man . . . .

They told stories that, at times, they had personally water boarded innocent Islamist, flushed the Koran down toilets, ripped up Turbans and burned them, raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of the Bush Administration, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of Afghanistan and Iraq in addition to the normal ravage of war and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.

We who have come here to Washington have come here because we feel we have to be Obama soldiers now. We could come back to this country, we could be quiet, we could hold our silence, we could not tell what went on in Afghanistan, but we feel, because of what threatens this country, not the Taliban or Al Quada but the crimes which we are committing that threaten it, that we have to speak out.

I would like to talk to you a little bit about what the result is of the feelings these men carry with them after coming back from Afghanistan and Iraq. The country doesn’t know it yet, but it has created a monster, a monster in the form of millions of men who have been taught to deal and to trade in violence, and who are given the chance to die for the biggest nothing in history; men who have returned with a sense of anger and a sense of betrayal which no one has yet grasped.

As a loyal comrade of the Obama Proletariat and one who felt this anger, I would like to talk about it. We are angry because we feel we have been used it the worst fashion by Bush administration.

In our opinion, and from our experience, there is nothing in Afghanistan or Iraq which could happen that realistically threatens the United States of America. And to attempt to justify the loss of one American life in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan by linking such loss to the preservation of freedom, which those misfits supposedly abuse, is to us the height of criminal hypocrisy, and it is that kind of hypocrisy which we feel has torn this country apart.
