In his groundbreaking book, Wakeup Call from Mexico, Wilson Beck describes how the dark side of Mexico stretches back to the days of the Aztecs when hundreds of thousands of people were sacrificed and eaten each year. Now, according to today’s Houston Chronicle, the brutal Zetas, known for beheading and dismembering their enemies, are tightening their grip on an area bordering Southern Texas.
Critics say our CIA and State Department are well aware of the dark side of Mexico and regularly brief U.S. presidents on the reality south of the border. Despite this, President Bush and now President Obama have been secretly working to integrate the U.S. and Mexico into a common political and economic unit.
“It is unfortunate that Mexico got off to such a bad start,” said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report,” but it is wrong to sacrifice the United States of America to correct problems south of the border.” He said while Mexicans are being besieged, which is nothing new for them, Americans are being betrayed by a government that refuses to protect them.

You reminded me of something. I got a nice note from the Chairman of NAFBPO (National Assn. of Former Border Patrol Agents) thanking us for getting their message out on FR and my blog. Their very active group gets first hand information on all things to do with immigration, tracks the foreign (Latin American) news and translates it and posts it on their web site every day.
IT is the BEST! Give them a look,especially the M3 Foreign news report, they’re a great bunch of gentlemen.

Arlen is talking about how large companies should stop giving bad products to consumers. He’s a windbag. I drank soda pop on quite a regular basis after school but put in no less than 4 hours a day on the ball court. Nary a problem.

Here’s a tip: If you’re trying to smuggle seven pounds of cocaine across the border, don’t attempt to hide it in your shoes.
A guy from Massachusetts will tell you it’s a really bad idea. U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers busted a man, identified only by his last name, Ortega, trying to scuttle through with more than $220,000 worth of cocaine in his sneaks.
It all began innocently enough, with border patrol officials picking out Ortega for a routine baggage inspection after he arrived on a flight from the Dominican Republic. Authorities found six pairs of shoes in his checked baggage; they had unusually thick soles.
Hmmmm ….
Upon closer inspection, authorities found a white powdery substance within the soles that field tested positive for cocaine. Oops.
“CBP is employs some of the most dedicated professional law enforcement officers in the country,” said Robert E. Perez, Director, Office of Field Operations, New York Field Office. “These highly skilled officers are committed to intercepting any threat or illicit activity before it adversely affects our nation’s communities.”
The investigation is ongoing. Ortega was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn. If convicted, he could face significant time behind bars.

It was just a matter of time, and last summer we lost (that we can prove) 88,000 acres in California to these squatters destroying our natural resources.
