Ingraham did a great job. So did Will. Even Al Hunt spoke some truth. Tucker and Podesta were spewing the leftist line of the Obama WH. Typical propaganda.

I do think Tucker had a point though. This White House is clumsy, ham-fisted and amateur when it comes to something as common place as dealing with negative press. Even Cynthia has to concede that now.

I forgot to tape THIS WEEK before dashing out the door to church this morning. I’m sure Laura will play bits of this during her radio show tomorrow. I heard that when Michelle Malkin was part of this panel everyone else just pretty much ignored everything Michelle said.

Frankly I was a bit disappointed. There were some REALLY outrageous lies by the lefties that went untouched. For instance Podesta outrageously claimed that the Bush administration only spent ONE HOUR on the Afghanistan review they turned over to Obama. Even though there are news stories out describing how the working group on this met twice daily for weeks, and even though Laura spoke immediately after this claim by Podesta, she either wasn't prepared with the facts, or she just let it slide.

I know. With these creeps the lies come too fast and furious and are too brazen. You can't possibly cover them all. But this "one hour" bullcrap seemed a HUGE opportunity to devastatingly embarrass Podesta. I don't understand why it was passed on, or why Laura didn't have the facts. She had to know this general subject would be discussed.

The point being is to dominate not be the allowed “respectable conservative” waiting for a pat on the head for being so “reasonable” and not predjudiced. Pray the day that we dominate the airways and we determine who is the “respectable liberal.”

One of the folks there said (Im paraphrasing) the white house isn't looking at fox's peoples tax returns...that's the kind of behavior that would scare me (a backhanded slap at the Nixon administration) Who says they're not? The Obummer administration will do anything they THINK they can get away with to silence the opposition.

In many ways obama reminds me of any ignorant third world dictator, heavy handed....no finesse. Im sure this will change the longer he is in office.

I had to chuckle at the reference to Charlie Gibson as a respected or intelligent journalist. The man is a complete moron, if not total imbecile. Indeed, he makes Keith Olberdouche look like a Mensa member. He certainly wouldn't know what ACORN is, he probably doesn't even know what an acorn is, either. This twit needs post-it-notes just to figure out how to tie his shoelaces.

I remember after David Hartman left ABC's Good Morning America and Joan Lunden thought she'd have the sole hosting position (she'd earned it), until the execs insisted Gibson co-host it with her. To say she was pissed would be an understatement. It was like she was told Ted Baxter's retarded little brother would have to share her spotlight.

It brought Clinton to my mind. Maybe Tricky Dick did it but the Clintons refined it to an art form, along with using pilfered FBI files for political blackmail.

I’d also like to point out that these idiots ALL check FR and Drudge daily.

Nixon wasn’t perfect, but he was more ethical than either Slick Willie or BO-and in terms of smarts-he sat on the toilet and expelled more brains on any given day than Clinton and Obama ever had, have, or will have.

Plus Nixon, by 1968, had reason to be paranoid. The Dems, Commies, and the media had been on him-with no new media like there is now to counteract it. He had the presidency in 1960 stolen from him-blatantly, and when he ran for Gov. of california in 1962, JFK himself, from the White House, pulled out all stops to screw Nixon over and get Moonbeam Jerry Brown’s daddy, Pat Brown, elected, which he was (starting California’s decline in the mid 60s)

I loved it when she filled in for BOR though, she’s tough as nails where BOR keeps straddling the fence waiting for his big interview with ZerO!

IIRC, what happened is that Nixon asked the head of the IRS to audit one individual. The result was that he himself was audited. Obviously, the head of that agency knew Nixon couldn’t do anything to him.

Clinton had the IRS audit virtually every conservative group in the country. Which just goes to show that there are a hell of a lot of lefties in our gov’t that will need to be cleared out when the real revolution comes!

The shocker for me was Cynthia Tucker - she has always been an ultra left-winger and I remember her attacks upon Bush were over the top.

However, in the video, she seemed pretty mild. I expected her to attack Laura, but she was very subdued.

At the time of Reagan, it became possible to do electronic searches on the library holdings of the University of Illinois Library. I got to wondering about the literary proficiency of our presidents and looked up the documents authored by them held by the U of I Library. As I recall there were a few by Wilson, the PHD, one or two by some others. The list for Reagan had over 400.

I met former-Pres Nixon in the late 70’s and he was very gracious and friendly. I was in the Air Force when AF1 stopped at Torrejon AB, Spain on it’s way to Egypt after Sadat was killed. I was fireman and some of us were in from of the station checking our trucks. Nixon and his SS agent were taking a walk. Someone hollered good morning and he walked over and talked to us. We all thought that was really nice of him ... especially because Carter walked by and completely ignored us.

I think the ham-fisted, clumsy, amateurish works for us. If they were sophisticated and subtle, no one would know what they are up to and be discussing it. By the WH ineptitude, it’s all out there in the open, and not many - even in the liberal media - much like it.

He sure did! He committed one unforgivable "crime": he nailed Alger Hiss as a Communist spy. After that it was just a matter of time until he was destroyed "by any means necessary."

All the incidents you mention were pay-back for his anti-Communist activities. He actually governed as a liberal, and signed legislation that plagues us still that created the Environmental Protection Agency and Endangered Species Act. He was most brilliant at international relations.

I don't/won't watch this program, I stopped the first day they had this weasel on, my instincts proven out when Step-on-all-of-us was allowed to interview his former employer during last year's campaign as though he would give her an objective, serious interrogation. No one seems to recall that he lost his post as Bill Clinton's spokesmouth because he lost credibility with the WH press corps, he was moved up to *special assistant* and the even less-qualified dope Myers was allowed to spew.

Was John Podesta truly included yesterday, has he been included in other roundtable discussions since 0bama was elected? Considering he works hand-in-glove with the White House, was the transition guy and heads the think tank (I use the term lightly) that houses the folks 0bama has to remove from the White House but still includes in policy making/implementing, I do not see how anyone can view this program as a truly objective, impartial news program, regardless it be more along the lines of the op-ed side of the spectrum.

And they say Fox has a *perspective* -- sheesh.
