Hill's powerless play (Is Effin' Kerry stealing Hillary's thunder? Hillary who? MII?)

Hill's powerless play
Michael Goodwin
Last Updated: 5:46 AM, October 25, 2009

**SNIP**

The Secretary of State is MII--Missing In Inaction. It's not just that she's been whittled down by the Obama White House, where there can be only one One.

**SNIP**

She was asked if it's true she is a hawk on Afghanistan.

"No, I don't think so," she responded, rejecting labels without saying anything meaningful about our policy in a country where we have 68,000 troops and the debate is whether to send more.

Clinton is smart and tough and no dovish lefty, but suddenly she is acting like a Stepford Secretary. Her trips abroad have been notable for failure, as in Russia, and missteps, as in Asia, where she talked of Iran "once they have a nuclear weapon." If her long trek to Africa had relevance, no one has found it.

Last week, she scheduled what her office called a major policy address. The topic was weighty, stopping nuclear proliferation, but she didn't break a single inch of new ground.

Actually, the speech was worse than a waste of time. By failing to seriously address the nuke programs of North Korea and Iran, she reinforced the impression the United States has no Plan B when, as seems certain, talking won't work.

Get a load of the tired nothing burgers she served up about the mad mullahs: "The door is open to a better future for Iran, but the process of engagement cannot be open-ended. We are not prepared to talk just for the sake of talking."

But that's exactly what we are doing -- talking for the sake of talking. She never mentions sanctions because Russia and China have said no and we've given up.

Holbrooke, Mitchell, and now Kerry...? That she puts up with it is telling. I don’t care for her based on her politics but did, at one time, consider her personal strength considerable. Now....not so much.

Though the feminists love Hillary and claim she is a great example of the “self made woman”, it is pretty clear by now that she got where she is because of Slick and not because of her own efforts.

If she’s going to make a move she’ll have to distance herself policy-wise from Zero. That’s a tough calculation to make - which hill does she want to die on (politically). And will the media follow her or let her wither on the vine. Let’s see.

“not being used to her full potential. “

DO NOT EVER FORGET that Hillary is an oldtime radical who in fact is a Chicago girl who went forth to law school and ended up in DC pursuing her radical agenda thru staff positions on Democratic congressional committees, one of the most notable being working tirelessly during the 1970’s.....Bill Clinton and Arkansas stepping-stones was just a convenient new identity, just as her carpetbagging in NY is.....she is and has been complicit in every aspect of what we are seeing emerge from the “obama” administration, both domestically and internationally....

always remember that Hillary is a Chicago radical!

addendum to post # 10

“My own reaction was of regret that, when I terminated her employment on the Nixon impeachment staff, I had not reported her unethical practices to the appropriate bar associations.

Hillary as I knew her in 1974

At the time of Watergate I had overall supervisory authority over the House Judiciary Committee’s Impeachment Inquiry staff that included Hillary Rodham-who was later to become First Lady in the Clinton White House.

During that period I kept a private diary of the behind the scenes congressional activities. My original tape recordings of the diary and other materials related to the Nixon impeachment provided the basis for my prior book Without Honor and are now available for inspection in the George Washington University Library.

After President Nixon’s resignation a young lawyer, who shared an office with Hillary, confided in me that he was dismayed by her erroneous legal opinions and efforts to deny Nixon representation by counsel-as well as an unwillingness to investigate Nixon. In my diary of August 12, 1974 I noted the following:

John Labovitz apologized to me for the fact that months ago he and Hillary had lied to me [to conceal rules changes and dilatory tactics.] Labovitz said, “That came from Yale.” I said, “You mean Burke Marshall [Senator Ted Kennedy’s chief political strategist, with whom Hillary regularly consulted in violation of House rules.] Labovitz said, “Yes.” His apology was significant to me, not because it was a revelation but because of his contrition.

At that time Hillary Rodham was 27 years old. She had obtained a position on our committee staff through the political patronage of her former Yale law school professor Burke Marshall and Senator Ted Kennedy. Eventually, because of a number of her unethical practices I decided that I could not recommend her for any subsequent position of public or private trust.

Her patron, Burke Marshal, had previously been Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights under Robert Kennedy. During the Kennedy administration Washington insiders jokingly characterized him as the Chief counsel to the Irish Mafia. After becoming a Yale professor he also became Senator Ted Kennedy’s lawyer at the time of Chappaquidick-as well as Kennedy’s chief political strategist. As a result, some of his colleagues often described him as the Attorney General in waiting of the Camelot government in exile.

In addition to getting Hillary a job on the Nixon impeachment inquiry staff, Kennedy and Marshall had also persuaded Rodino to place two other close friends of Marshall in top positions on our staff. One was John Doar; who had been Marshall’s deputy in the Justice Department-whom Rodino appointed to head the impeachment inquiry staff. The other was Bernard Nussbaum, who had served as Assistant U.S. Attorney in New York-who was placed in charge of conducting the actual investigation of Nixon’s malfeasance.

Marshall, Doar, Nussbaum, and Rodham had two hidden objectives regarding the conduct of the impeachment proceedings. First, in order to enhance the prospect of Senator Kennedy or another liberal Democrat being elected president in 1976 they hoped to keep Nixon in office “twisting in the wind” for as long as possible. This would prevent then-Vice President Jerry Ford from becoming President and restoring moral authority to the Republican Party.

As was later quoted in the biography of Tip O’Neill (by John Farrell), a liberal Democrat would have become a “shoe in for the presidency in 1976” if Nixon had been kept in office until the end of his term. However, both Tip O’Neill and I-as well as most Democrats-regarded it to be in the national interest to replace Nixon with Ford as soon as possible. As a result, as described by O’Neill, we coordinated our efforts to “keep Rodino’s feet to the fire.”

A second objective of the strategy of delay was to avoid a Senate impeachment trial, in which as a defense Nixon might assert that Kennedy had authorized far worse abuses of power than Nixon’s effort to “cover up” the Watergate burglary (which Nixon had not authorized or known about in advance). In short, the crimes of Kennedy included the use of the Mafia to attempt to assassinate Castro, as well as the successful assassinations of Diem in Vietnam and Lumumba in the Congo.

After hiring Hillary, Doar assigned her to confer with me regarding rules of procedure for the impeachment inquiry. At my first meeting with her I told her that Judiciary Committee Chairman Peter Rodino, House Speaker Carl Albert, Majority Leader Tip O’Neill, Parliamentarian Lou Deschler and I had previously all agreed that we should rely only on the then existing House Rules, and not advocate any changes. I also quoted Tip O’Neill’s statement that: “To try to change the rules now would be politically divisive. It would be like trying to change the traditional rules of baseball before a World Series.”

“...and keep your enemies closer”. Barry gave Hillary a job in his administration so she can’t badmouth him and mount an intraparty challenge in 2012. Then he appointed enough czars to make her impotent. In 2012, the economy will still have sluggish employment and long term mountainous debt. He would be vulnerable but Hillary is now part of the failure. She can’t quit; she doesn’t even have a Senate seat anymore.

From the Maoist Internationist Movement:

excerpt...

"On May 1st, May Day, the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo.

Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.

The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."

To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

Hillary and the Black Panthers: The Real Story
Richard Poe
Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003

I can't take it anymore. If one more person sends me that e-mail about Hillary and the Black Panthers, I'll have to be dragged away screaming in a straitjacket.

You know the e-mail I'm talking about. It accuses Hillary of helping the Black Panthers get away with torture and murder during the early 1970s. With the 2004 presidential race drawing near, the spam mills are creaking to life, flooding the Internet once more with this agitprop classic.

Unfortunately, the e-mail mingles good information with bad, sowing more confusion than enlightenment. Some versions, for instance, carry the byline of radio talk jock Paul Harvey, who says he did not write it. Such misrepresentations help Hillary defenders dismiss the e-mail as a hoax.

The story is no hoax, though. Its basic elements can be found in respected Hillary biographies and exposes such as Barbara Olson's "Hell to Pay," David Brock's "The Seduction of Hillary Rodham," Joyce Milton's "The First Partner" and Carl Limbacher's "Hillary's Scheme."

Here are the facts:

In May 1969, fishermen discovered the body of Black Panther Alex Rackley floating in Connecticut's Coginchaug River. Rackley's captors had clubbed him, burned him with cigarettes, scalded him with boiling water and stabbed him with an ice pick before finally shooting him in the head.

New Haven detectives learned that the Panthers suspected Rackley of being a police informer. Panther enforcers had tied him to a chair and tortured him for hours. Police arrested eight Panthers and later extradited Panther leader Bobby Seale from California, after a witness accused Seale of ordering Rackley's death. (1)

Campus radicals supported the Panthers. They organized mass protests in support of the so-called "New Haven Nine." Hillary was right in the thick of it.

By the time she entered Yale Law School in 1969, Hillary was already a radical celebrity on campus. Life magazine had featured Hillary in a piece titled, "The Class of '69," which showcased three student activists whom Life's editors deemed the best and brightest of the year. A line Hillary used in her Wellesley College commencement speech appeared under her photo: "Protest is an attempt to forge an identity." (2)

At Yale, Hillary helped edit the Yale Review of Law and Social Action – a left-wing journal which promoted cop-killing and featured cartoons of pig-faced police. (3)

A series of hard-Left mentors introduced Hillary to the brass-knuckle realities of revolutionary activism. As a Wellesley undergraduate, she met and interviewed radical organizer Saul Alinsky, whose Machiavellian tactics she admired. Hillary's senior thesis supported Alinsky's call for class warfare. (4)

At Yale, Hillary found a new Svengali in the form of left-wing law professor Thomas Emerson, known around campus as "Tommy the Commie." Emerson recruited Hillary and other students to help monitor the trial of the New Haven Nine for civil rights violations. Hillary took charge of the operation, scheduling the students in shifts, so that student monitors would always be present in the courtroom. She befriended and worked closely with Panther lawyer Charles Garry. (5)

Some believe that the enormous pressure exerted by the Left helped ensure light sentences for the New Haven Nine. Whether or not this is true, the punishments were mild.

"Only one of the killers was still in prison in 1977," reports John McCaslin in the Washington Times. "The gunman, Warren Kimbro, got a Harvard scholarship and became an assistant dean at Eastern Connecticut State College. Ericka Huggins, who boiled the water for Mr. Rackley's torture, got elected to a California school board." (6)

Hillary's defenders argue that she played no "significant" role in the New Haven Nine's defense. This is semantic hairsplitting. Obviously, Hillary was less "significant" than Charles Garry or "Tommy the Commie" Emerson. But Hillary served as a trusted lieutenant to these movers and shakers. Moreover, she had a national profile as a campus activist. Hillary was no rank-and-file student protester, as her apologists claim.

Indeed, Hillary's work for the Panthers won her a summer internship at the Berkeley office of attorney Robert Treuhaft in 1972. A hardline Stalinist, Treuhaft had quit the Communist Party in 1958 only because it was losing members and no longer provided a good platform for his activism. (7) "Treuhaft is a man who dedicated his entire legal career to advancing the agenda of the Soviet Communist Party and the KGB," notes historian Stephen Schwartz. (8)

The defense of the New Haven Nine marked Hillary's initiation into the sinister underworld of the hard-core, revolutionary Left. To my knowledge, Hillary has never publicly renounced nor apologized for her role in that movement.

Hitlery is finding out what millions of other ‘old’ women could have told her.

1. You chose to stick with a piece of s#$@* spouse, thinking that ‘someday I’ll get my reward’. If you had had the courage to go it alone you probably would be highly regarded today.

2. Like every other woman, you lost your looks (what you had of them)

3. Old, used-up women are put out to pasture. There isn’t a ‘reward’ honey, for the path you chose

Welcome to the real world.

She's virtually unelectable now that she has shown herself to be incompetent and weak without some sort of Democrat/Marxist/Maoist machine providing her with total cover; she is also growing old rather ungracefully, and that may be the bigger deal-breaker in these unenlightened times.

Even though I am totally disgusted with Hillary Cllinton, there is still a small warm spot for what was a fighting spirit which she displayed in her campaign until the big ‘secret’ meeting she and Obama scuttled off to with the Council on Foreign Relations. She got her marching orders there because they wanted Obama to push The New World Order, and knew she doesn’t hate her country enough to usher it in for them.

If she had been smart, she’d have stayed in the Senate and been a driving force there. Especially now with Kennedy gone. I can’t believe she and Bill were fooled into the SOS job, knowing that Obama would not give her opportunity to outshine him there. He has her neutralized and has basically put her in a ‘shut up’ position.

remember, she's a student of Alinsky too...Obama is just 'in your face' with his approach.

"THERE IS ONLY THE FIGHT..."
An Analysis of the Alinsky Model

A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree under the Special Honors Program, Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Hillary D. Rodham
Political Science
2 May, 1969

[from page 10...]

"Alinsky outlines American history focusing on men he would call 'radical,' confronting his readers again with the 'unique' way Americans have synthesized the alien roots of radicalism, Marxism, Utopian socialism, syndicalism, the French Revolution, with their own conditions and experiences:

Where are the American Radicals? They were with Patrick Henry in the Virginia Hall of Burgesses; they were with Sam Adams in Boston; they were with that peer of all American Radicals, Tom Paine, from the distribution of Common Sense through those dark days of the American Revolution...

The American Radicals were in the colonies grimly forcing the addition of the Bill of Rights to our Constitution. They stood at the side of Tom Jefferson in the first big battle between the Tories of Hamilton and the American people. They founded and fought in the LocoFocos. They were in the first union strike in America and they fought for the distribution of the western lands to the masses of people instead of the few...They were in the shadows of the underground railroad and they openly rode in the sunlight with John Brown to Harpers Ferry...They were with Horace Mann fighting for the extension of educational opportunities...They built the American Labor movement...

Many of their deeds are not and never will be recorded in America's history. They were among the grimy men in the dust bowl, they sweated with the share croppers. They were at the side of the Okies facing the California vigilantes. They stood and stand before the fury of lynching mobs. They were and are on the picket lines gazing unflinchingly at the threatening, flushed, angry faces of the police.

American Radicals are to be found wherever and whenever America moves closer to the fulfillment of its democratic dream. Whenever America's hearts are breaking, these American Radicals were and are. America was begun by its Radicals. The hope and future of America lies with its Radicals.9

Words such as these coupled with his compelling personality enabled Alinsky to hold a sidewalk seminar during the 1968 Democratic Party Convention in Chicago. He socratically gathered around him a group of young demonstrators on the corner of Michigan and Bilbo on Monday night telling them that they were another generation of American Radicals.10"

(How much of this applies to Hillary? — fat, laments her lost capacity to be POTUS, no more chance of testicular cancer, behavior problems unresolved, bitches)

Myths and facts

There are many myths about canine reproductive needs. Chiefly among these are the suspicion that neutering turns a male into a sissy and spaying causes a female to get fat and to lament her lost capacity.

The truth is that male dogs, especially those with a submissive personality, are usually better pets if they are neutered. They may have less desire to roam, to mark territory (including furniture), and, if neutered before sexual maturity, they may be less likely to exert dominance over family members. They may also be healthier pets: no testicles means no testicular cancer.

A word of caution, however. Neutering a dog reduces production of testosterone but does not eliminate this hormone. Thus a neutered dog, especially if he has a dominant character, may also retain his desire to roam and an assertive or even aggressive personality. Owners who depend on neutering to resolve behavior problems run a high risk of being disappointed unless they also train the pet to have good manners at home and in public.

Females also tend to be better pets if they do not experience oestrus every six-to-nine months. Heat cycles bring hormonal changes that can lead to personality changes, and oestrus females must be confined to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Repeated heat cycles may subject the reproductive system to uterine and mammary cancers as they age. Some bitches experience false pregnancies that can be a bother to deal with and uterine infections that can be fatal.

While the hormone changes caused by sterilization can contribute to overweight, dogs and bitches do not generally get fat simply as a result of spay or neuter surgery. Like other mammals, they gain weight if they eat too much and exercise too little or are genetically programmed to be hefty. Weight gain that follows sterilization surgery may be linked to those hormone changes but will be aggravated by continuing to feed a high energy diet to a dog that is reducing the need for energy as he reaches his adult size. Excess energy in the food becomes excess fat on the body.

As far as we know, dogs do not lament their lost capability to reproduce. This is a different species than ours; they reproduce to ensure survival of their kind, not to nurture a pup for 18 years, watch it go off to college, marry, establish a career, and produce grandchildren. Bitches nurse their pups for a few weeks, teach them to behave like dogs, and go on. Males know nothing of fatherhood; they do not recognize pups as their own.

Hillary, Terrorism and the FALN

By Ron Kolb

During the April 16 Democratic debate in Philadelphia, moderator George Stephanopoulos asked Barack Obama about his relationship to William Ayers, the unrepentant member of the Weather Underground who had participated in several bombings of government facilities back in 1970s.

Since that time, Ayers had become active in leftist circles in Chicago. In 2001, Ayers bragged, "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough."

At the debate, Sen. Hillary Clinton condemned Obama's association with Ayers, adding that in those bombings "people died." "So it is--I think it is, again, an issue that people will be asking about," said Clinton.

There is a glaring bit of hypocrisy in Clinton's dismay. In 1999, her husband offered pardons to 16 unrepentant members of a fringe Puerto Rican terrorist group known as the FALN (Armed Forces of National Liberation), who were based in the U.S., and the Macheteros (machete-wielders), the FALN's island-based branch. They were seeking independence from the U.S. and had virtually no political support on the island

During the 1970s and 1980s, FALN members set off at least 138 bombs in five major U.S. Cities. Six Americans were killed in those attacks. One of those bombings, in January 1975, was at the historic Fraunces Tavern in lower Manhattan while patrons were at lunch. The explosion killed four and injured more than 50.

Despite the Clintons' repeated denials, there is evidence that the pardons were offered to the terrorists with Hillary Clinton's full knowledge. In the Oct. 4, 1999, issue of the New Republic, Jose Rivera, then a New York City Councilman, is quoted as saying that he personally approached Hillary on Aug. 9, 1999. He said he gave her a packet of information about the FALN members along with a personal letter asking her to "speak to the president and ask him to consider granting clemency" to them.

Two days later, on Aug. 11, President Clinton would offer pardons to the terrorists.

Chinagate II? Hsu Linked to Past Clinton Scandal Donor

September 14, 2007

Norman Hsu's donations to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign have brought comparisons but no direct connections to the 1990s "Chinagate" scandal.

But before Hsu made headlines as a fugitive fundraiser late last month (he's now in custody in California for a 1991 grand theft conviction), he served on a board with another key figure in the earlier fundraising scandal.

For more than a year, Hsu was a member of the board for the New School University in New York, where he worked with Bernard L. Schwartz. The latter, a major Clinton donor, was chief executive officer of a major defense contractor involved in technology transfers to the People's Republic of China, according to a congressional report released in 1999.

Hsu was named to the New School's board of governors in May 2006, New School spokesman Brian Krapf told Cybercast News Service. He was named to the board of trustees in July 2007.

Schwartz has served on the board of trustees since October 2004, according to a press release from the New School.

Schwartz, former chief of Loral Space and Communications, was very close to both Bill and Hillary Clinton, spent his 71st birthday with them in the White House in 1997, and is credited with giving $1.5 million to Democrats during the Clinton years, according to news reports. He reportedly has given $256,000 to the Democratic Party since 2004.

According to the congressional report, Loral and Hughes Electronics, another defense firm, provided Chinese space engineers with technical rocketry data that could assist the communist country's weapons programs. The firms allegedly pushed to get export licensing authority transferred from the U.S. State Department to the U.S. Department of Commerce, thus making it easier to transfer U.S. missile and satellite technology to the Chinese.

Schwartz could not be reached for comment.

The congressional report also said Chinese Col. Liu Chaoying helped to funnel $300,000 to Johnny Chung, a key figure in the 1996 Clinton fundraising scandal. "Col. Liu's payment to Johnny Chung was an attempt to better position her in the United States to acquire computer, missile and satellite technologies," according to the report.

"Schwartz did business with communist China, so any connection Hsu has with him is intriguing," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told Cybercast News Service. "The Chinese government obtained many benefits from their access to U.S. technology."

In a 1998 news release after the scandal made headlines, Loral officials stated, "No sensitive information — no significant technology — was conveyed to the Chinese. No 'secret' or 'classified' information was ever discussed with the Chinese."

The statement further said that Bernard Schwartz "was not personally involved in any aspect of this matter. No political favors or benefits of any kind were requested or extended."

By 2003, both Loral and Hughes agreed to pay a combined fine of $32 million to the federal government for passing missile technology to the Chinese.

Schwartz retired as CEO of Loral in 2006, and now heads his own investment firm, BLS Investments.

Guess what. Once again we discover that the emperor has no clothes. Hillary is just as mediocre and banal as all the rest of the New Left Boomer bunch.

She has been relegated to the sidelines.

She has no power.

She made a huge mistake taking this job but...her greed for power overcame her thought process and now look at her. I personally do not feel sorry for her at all. Never felt sorry for her husband either. They are two peas in a pod and they deserve each other.

hilllereeeee whooooooooo????????????
