Obama is not executive material, just an egotistical little boy.
He knows that this is precedent. It could happen to anyone else. And if it does become a regular thing, God Forbid (in their minds, assuming they believe in God and don’t relegate the Lord to some backroom archive) that a Republican become president and try the same thing!
Such phenomena were forecast in the movie "Network" in 1976. Back then the idea of a half-deranged demagogue set loose on a national audience for the sake of ratings still sounded far-fetched. These days the movie looks almost like a documentary.
Although I think it's a big stretch to label Hannity and Beck as "half-deranged demagogues", I actually wouldn't mind it if Page and others would accurately label Matthews, Maddow and Olbermann likewise. Labeling someone a "half-deranged demagogue" merely because of their ideology is not a convincing argument.
I don't recall Bush blaming the media, and certainly not to the degree that this Obama character has.
