Money talks.

Wasn’t there, don’t know, didn’t have the grand to buy my way in. But that’s what is being reported today. At a $1000 a plate they were hoping to raise a cool mil from, ummm, uhhh, bankers and hedge fund managers.

“We came very close to a Great Depression,” he said, adding that the United States must never again be so close to disaster because of the action of reckless investors.

“Join us, don’t fight us,” said Obama, singling out the financial executives in the room. “Join us in passing what are necessary reforms. It is important for our country and in the long run it will be good for your industry to have a level playing field.”

when obama said, ““We came very close to a Great Depression,” did he also apoligize for the Dimocrats causing the problem in the first place? And how about putting Barney Frank on notice for supporting ridiculous loans and then for actually allowing the Government to buy GM? I’m sure he touched on those subjects as well.

“Join us, don’t fight us,” said Obama

In the old days, selling one's soul to the Devil for a few pieces of silver was regarded as a pretty dumb thing to do.

I'll fight.

I can't believe Zer0 used the mop joke again. With all the late night “comedians” in the tank for him you'd think he'd get new material.

Thanks again to all the patriots who stood outside at this grub-fest in Stamford. Funny how the Bamster took note of all the houses in Greenwich, but his flight path from Boston kind of skipped over the rest of CT where people are losing their houses due to LACK OF EMPLOYMENT.

It's YOUR economy Barry, FIX IT or GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!

Barry must have also passed by (or over) the infamous city-seized land in New London, which to this day remains undeveloped - 4 years after the Kelo vs. City of New London SCOTUS appeal and decision.

I wonder how he would respond if asked his opinion on eminent domain. Better yet, if asked about seizure of property along CT’s Gold Coast.
