Palin endorses and $116,000 is raised

Conservative Party congressional candidate Doug Hoffman in upstate New York (the district borders Canada and Vermont) has less than 2 weeks to get out of 3rd place in the 3-candidate race.

He needs money and organization.

The Susan B. Anthony List organization, which backs pro-life women candidates, sent six staffers to help Hoffman in his race against Republican Dede Scozzafava and Democrat Bill Owens. It is spending $300,000 on his candidacy, the New York Daily News reported.

Within 24 hours of Sarah Palin’s announcement that she backs the conservative, Hoffman raised $116,000 online — $210,000 for the week.

This is going to be a lollercoaster for us if the RINO gets beaten by a real conservative.

Once again, the Brit press gets it.

“Suddenly, Watertown, NY, is the center of the political universe. By appointing Republican Congressman John McHugh as secretary of the Army, President Obama created an opening for a pro-choice and pro-gay marriage Republican.

“He also created an opening for his nemesis. And I don’t mean Glenn Beck.”

I find it a little odd that with the mission of the Susan B. Anthony List organization, they’re sending staffer to work for a male candidate.

"This is going to be a lollercoaster for us if the RINO gets beaten by a real conservative."

Sarah DID dismantle the Alaskan Oil & Gas Commission of ol'boys. She certainly can kick around and scare to death quite a few of the sissy RINOs embedded in Washington DC.

If Sarah Palin can flush out some major RINO crap from DC, then she has succeeded where no others have dared. She will be my personal hero.

To the extent this:

is true, Hoffman needs to pound Dede into withdrawing.

Exactly.

For far too long the GOP establishment has failed to embrace the diversity that conservatism can bring to their leaning and badly designed tent.

These polls were taken over a week ago, there is no telling whats going on now. It has been a very very busy week for NY-23 hasn’t it? They are getting international coverage for their 3-way race.

It doesn’t look like the Democrat base will abandoned Owens, and the RINO’s and a few radical leftist are backing Scuzzy. Independents seemed to be moving to Hoffman along with conservatives.

Who knows the real story? I guess we will find out on election day.

You would think that some major media outlet would have done a poll recently with all this attention. Maybe their doing it now.

Susan B. Anthony was a pro-life feminist. So normally they work toward putting pro-life women into office. But I think they are also maybe willing to work in this case to keep an extreme pro-abortion Republican OUT of office.

Their aim is pro-life, but I think they also want to disabuse the voters of the notion that all women are pro-abort. So this does fit in with their mission, to a large extent.

Maybe they did and it turned out bad for Dede and thus was not "newsworthy".

It is possible. It only takes a plurality and the turn out should be low and it is a conservative district.

This is a good test case for what happens if the RINO’s really want to drop conservatism and principles.

There will be a lot of 3 way races if that happens.

Unfortunately, the yellow dog Republican and Democraps are not typically technically savvy. It is going to take a face to face effort by conservatives to inform them and in a really short time. I know God’s will will be done either way, but I am hoping and praying for Doug’s win.

Dear Diary,,

I’m in a really sad place right now. It’s quickly becoming apparent that my pick for Gov of Virginia is a lost cause, so now I have to pretend to not have ever heard of him. Then that evil Sarah Palin woman rears her ugly head again. I wish everyone would just stop talking about her because she scares the buh-jeebus out of me! Next thing you know, all the network news media will be coming to the aid of that evil Fox News,, oh wait, too late (sigh…..).

Til next time Dear Diary,

I know God’s will will be done either way

God's will is for a pro-life candidate, it's up to us to do the will of the Father to support and vote for a pro life candidate.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life

The Huckster bows to the RINO's wishes for their future support. That, in itself, exposes his 'claimed' Christian values. He's a 'INO'.

Yes he can win! Recent revelations about Scuzzafava pinching donation cash will only help Hoffman. Gingrich, Sessions, Cantor et al refused to initially do the right thing, now, *if* they've any honor and character at all, they will renounce their endorsement of a charlatan and thief and support Hoffman.

Absolutely Hoffman can pull this out. He’s in second place and the race is between him and the Dem. Hoffman now probably has the best organization. He has offices all over the place now and more and more volunteers. What he doesn’t have is enough cash. At least not yet. The labor unions are pouring money into this race and the RNC is making this a veritable Stalingrad — no price is too high to secure victory or at least to stop the conservatives. Any amount anyone can give Hoffman’s campaign is needed. This is history in the making.

Mark Steyn.
Mark proceeded to state that the female NY congressional Republican candidate, Dede Scozzafava, is past being a RINO. He declared that she is a DIABLO, (Democrat in all but label only)! I had never heard that one before and got a big kick out of it! I know that diablo means devil in Spanish, but I had never heard it used as that particular acronym. I suspect that she has plenty of DIABLO status Republicans for company, and that could be the problem with the Republican party.

I like the Huckster, but he is banking on the Republican ticket in 2012. I think he should jump in with Sarah with both feet because the RNC’s political landscape will be totally different by 2012. I have been predicting a 3rd party rise for years and the timing is perfect. It will happen, it will be costly...but in the long run we may save our republic through a political revolution. If it fails, well it could get really ugly fast!

Since he hasn't, is the point. It shows what he really is - dead fish going w/the flow, the establishment. It's never about what they say but what they do - if they don't match up, they are a fraud, IMO.
