The NRA is endorsing her, everyone should call them Monday and tell them to support him, he's got a better chance to win and he is more trustworthy to follow thru and push the issue.

Help Doug today with a donation http://doughoffmanforcongress.com/

I give up. I’ve tried a dozen time in the last four days to donate and sent his web site the third email telling them neither of my perfectly good cards will work.

They need to fix thier web site.

I already donated to Doug, so whether he wins or loses, I know I backed the right horse.

The NRA-ILA backs both parties and often.
Check there website at NRA.org for complete info.
I was able to secure a 2K donation from them for a 3rd party pro-2nd Amendment candidate in 1990.

Can SarahPAC donate?

If so, why not in there?

That would be nice. Hope she can also fly out there for at least one appearance with him in the next 8 days. Why that would generate a lot of attention and ground troops needed for the final GOTV push for Doug.

Thanks to all who have been donating and pushing his numbers up.

It's my honor to endorse Doug and to do what I can to help him win, including having my political action committee, SarahPAC, donate to his campaign the maximum contribution allowed by law.

From Politico story http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1009/28268.html#

“Dede is in position to win this campaign. Having the necessary resources and support are critical,” said Scozzafava spokesman Matthew Burns, citing endorsements from the National Rifle Association and the state’s largest teachers union. “Her campaign continues to generate widespread support. We are hopeful that our supporters will continue to help the fight through the finish.”

It also appears the above figures are from Oct 14th period, so are about 10 days old. This is BEFORE he got endorsed by Palin, went on Beck’s radio show, and reportedly had a big rush of funds in from people all around the country, so he could in fact be way ahead of that DIABLO (RINO) woman on this thing, which would be nice. I would like to see it narrow down to a fight to the end between him and the (D), with her as kind of a nasty afterthought pulling low double digits.

So she did it. Good. That means of course the money from Gov. Palin has probably been wired already and received in NY. It just did not make the 10/14 report filed since she had not endorsed by that time. Thanks.

Watch all these fence sitting RINOS who want 2012 start to come down off the fence now. Take close note of how late they got into the game!!

I don’t get the NRA endorsement. It makes no sense. Didn’t they also endorse Gillibrand? Where did that get them?

This woman wants government to fund ACORN, Planned Parenthood and NPR every other leftist anti-gun outfit. How does that not get factored in to their ratings?

Sarah already donated the maximum allowable amount from her SarahPAC, and penned a ringing endorsement for Doug Hoffman, and a stinging smack-down for the RNC and RCCC.

There has to be atleast one lawyer Republican that can find impeachment charges against Barry Soetoro (HINT:How about aiding and abetting terrorists?) for starters.

If not... plain and simple no bones about it. I will be a registered C or a registered Ind voting for the C candidate.

I would like to know her ratings as a pro gun supporter, if she has rated A or A- in New York that’s great and she earned the endorsement and she is in the office making the votes.

If she rates a C and is not a member and you have a NRA member like Doug Hoffman they should say we will support him.

The NRA also doesn’t like to support 3rd party candidacies even when both parties candidates are anti-gun.

I have yet to find the NRA endorsement. I only find articles claiming it. You all got anything i didn't see? I have crawled all over the NRA website(s) and seen nothing.

There could be a story here, was the endorsement for this race? Where is it? when was it published? When was it done?

They do keep a scorecard on politicians, but I’ve felt before they’ve endorsed the wrong candidate...they dislike 3rd parties and favor incumbents, too...even if the challenger might actually be more pro-gun sometimes. Hedging their bets.

I suspect the endorsement went out before they realized Hoffman was going to be a serious contender.

I just spoke to NRA and this is what I was told: Hoffman has an NRA “letter of support”, but no endorsement because they can only endorse based on a candidates votes after election. Based on their interview with Hoffman, they have issued a “letter of support”. Scozzafaza has an excellent record by the NRA, even if she has a lousy record elsewhere. So she has an endorsement.

So the NRA is endorsing a Liberal over a Conservative...

As much as you and I may be members, they are also in a sense "K"-Street types, i.e. PAC's....

They would hate a Hoffman or a Palin...

Why? they know a flat or fair tax will ruin their Bordello and the games that go on within it on the Potomac.

They are both too much of a threat...

If that is the case, give me the Flat Tax baby...

I had trouble with the website a few days ago too. The donation button gave me a security alert and the main phone number gave me a fax line. I think they're a little overwhelmed. I called a regional office, and they had someone call me back. I took care of it via credit card over the phone. They were very nice, and very grateful. Apparently the donation function has been giving some people trouble. I wasn't the only one reporting it.
