I Had a Dream
American Thinker ^ | October 24, 2009 | Jed Gladstein

Posted on 10/24/2009 3:28:16 AM PDT by bogusname

I awakened the other morning from a dream to a vivid certainty. The certainty is that America is in mortal danger. Our country has reached a pivot point in its national existence, and the American people must now decide whether this country will be victorious or join the long line of historically vanquished nations.

Here is the dream:

The election of 2010 is critical. If the Dems retain control of Congress, that will be considered a mandate for their governance, which will make them unstoppable.

We have to fight every Democrat for the next year as if the life of our country depended on it. Because it does.

The Democrats we know can no longer be considered friends or “worthy opponents”. That is stupidity. They need to be challenged as to why they are throwing their lot in with such a group of America-hatings left wing freaks.

The Democrats are a radical, anti-American party. They are the party of death, and the party of big government. They are the enemies of freedom. They have proven that without any shadow of a doubt.

And the winner of the 2012 Presidential race will foreshadow whether 2012 will be like 1860 or 1980.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”

America is “the last, best hope of earth”. When it goes down, the lights will go out. I have always pitied the people who lived in the Middle Ages and the Dark Ages. I hope I don’t become one of them

People came to this land fleeing the rulers of the darkness of Europe, for even though The Enlightenment and the Reformation had turned on some artificial lights, the rulers of darkness were still there.

The Godly people who set up this Republic knew what was behind them in Europe, as well as what was in the heart of man (Jeremiah 17:9) and wrote every conceivable stricture to fence that out. The darkness wasn’t just European - it was Adamic.

It appears the rulers of darkness have caught up with us, and joined forces with the deceitfulness and wickedness in the heart of man (Jer. 17:9 again) and we see the lights flickering and dimming.

What is at stake here is no small matter - it is the fate of the world. This world hates us and loves the United States, as evidenced by the two things that people from elsewhere in the world do when they can: they either move here or they try to kill us.

But a more insidious force is at work and it is almost finished; it is the one (I think it was) Cicero who spoke of, the people who are among us, look like us, talk like us, dress like us, and are preparing our death and burial.. Michael Savage calls him “The Enemy Within”. He is doing us in.

One more thought: if this is a step toward the one world of the antichrist that is fulfilment of prophecy, there’s not much point in fighting it; the thing to do would be to pray and prepare. I guess what I’m saying is “Look well to what is happening and what we can, should, can’t or shouldn’t do about it.”

Abraham Lincoln said, “America will never be destroyed
from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
And so it is happening. We are being destroyed from within.
He also said,
“Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world.”

We might be in the last days as you suspect but shouldn’t we as good people rise up and fight back?

The Democratic party is not American and it should be removed altogether.
I’m not sure there will be anything to save by 2012.
We can’t wait that long.

GEORGE WASHINGTON’S PROPHESY OF AMERICA

The father of our country, George Washington, was a man of prayer. We have all read of how he went to the thicket many times to pray during the winter his army was at Valley Forge. However, little publicity has been given to the vision and prophecy he received at that time. The account of this vision was given in 1859 by an old soldier. He gave it to a writer, Wesley Bradshaw, who published it. In the vision God revealed to George Washington that three great perils would come upon the Republic. He was given to know that America was going through the first peril at that time. The old soldier who told the story of the vision said that the nation would soon see the account verified by the second peril descending upon the land. We give the account here as it was reprinted in the U. S. war veterans’ paper The National Tribune, in December, 1880. The National Tribune is now called The Stars and Stripes. This article was reprinted in the Stars and Stripes December 21,1950. Here is the report of this phenomenal and most important heavenly message for us at this hour. Wesley Bradshaw wrote: The last time I ever saw Anthony Sherman was on the fourth of July 1859, in Independence Square. He was then ninety-nine years old, and becoming very feeble. But though so old, his dimming eyes rekindled as he gazed upon Independence Hall, which he came to visit once more.

MESSAGE DISCLOSED
“Let us go into the hall,” he said. “I want to tell you of an incident of Washington’s life-one which no one alive knows of except myself; and if you live, you will before long see it verified. Mark the prediction, you will see it verified.” “From the opening of the Revolution we experienced all phases-of fortune, now good and now ill, one time victorious and another conquered. The darkest period we had, I think, was when Washington after several reverses, retreated to Valley Forge, where he resolved to pass the winter of 1777. Ah! I have often seen the tears coursing down our dear commander’s care-worn cheeks, as he would be conversing with a confidential officer about the condition of his poor soldiers. You have doubtless heard the story of Washington’s going to the thicket to pray. Well, it was not only true, but he used often to pray in secret for aid and comfort. And God brought us safely through the darkest days of tribulation.” “One day, I remember it well, the chilly winds whistled through the leafless trees, though the sky was cloudless and the sun shone brightly. He remained in his quarters nearly all the afternoon, alone. When he came out I noticed that his face was a shade paler than usual, and there seemed to be something on his mind of more than ordinary importance. Returning just after dusk, he dispatched an orderly to the quarters of an officer, who was presently in attendance. After a preliminary conversation of about half an hour, Washington, gazing upon his companion with that strange look of dignity which he alone could command, said to
the latter:

AN UNINVITED GUEST
“I do not know whether it is owing to the anxiety of my mind, or what, but this afternoon, as I was sitting at this table engaged in preparing a dispatch, something in the apartment seemed to disturb me. Looking up, I beheld standing opposite me a singularly beautiful being. So astonished was I, for I had given strict orders not to be disturbed that it was some moments before I found language to inquire the cause of the visit. A second, a third, and even a fourth time did I repeat my question, but received no answer from my mysterious visitor except a slight raising of the eyes.” “By this time I felt strange sensations spreading through me. I would have risen but the riveted gaze of the being before me rendered volition impossible. I assayed once more to speak, but my tongue had become useless, as if paralyzed. A new influence, mysterious, potent, irresistible, took possession of me. All I could do was to gaze steadily, vacantly at my unknown visitor.” “Gradually the surrounding atmosphere seemed to fill with sensations, and grew luminous. Everything about me seemed to rarefy, the mysterious visitor also becoming more airy and yet more distinct to my sight than before. I began to feel as one dying, or rather to experience the sensations, which I have sometimes imagined, accompany death. I did not think, I did not reason, I did not move. All were alike impossible. I was only conscious of gazing fixedly, vacantly at my companion.”

FIRST GREAT PERIL
“Presently I heard a voice saying, ‘Son of the Republic, look and learn,’ while at the same time my visitor extended an arm eastward. I now beheld a heavy white vapor at some distance rising fold upon fold. This gradually dissipated, and I looked upon a strange scene. Before me lay, spread out in one vast plain, all the countries of the world-Europe, Asia, Africa and America. I saw rolling and tossing between Europe and America the billows of the Atlantic, and between Asia and America lay the Pacific. ‘Son of the Republic,’ said the same mysterious voice as before, ‘look and learn.’ “At that moment I beheld a dark, shadowy being, like an angel, standing, or rather floating in mid-air, between Europe and America. Dipping water out of the ocean in the hollow of each hand, he sprinkled some upon America with his right hand, while with his left he cast some over Europe. Immediately a cloud arose from these countries, and joined - in mid-ocean. For awhile it remained stationary, and then it moved slowly westward, until it enveloped America in its murky folds. Sharp flashes of lightning gleamed through it at intervals, and I heard the smothered groans and cries of the American people.

SECOND GREAT PERIL
“A second time the angel dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it out as before. The dark cloud was then drawn back to the ocean, in whose heaving billows it sank from view.” “A third time I heard the mysterious voice saying, ‘Son of the Republic, look and learn.’ I cast my eyes upon America and beheld villages and towns and cities springing Up one after another until the whole land from the Atlantic to the Pacific was dotted with them. Again, I heard the mysterious voice say, ‘Son of the Republic, the end of the century comes, look and learn.” “And this time the dark shadowy angel turned his face southward. From Africa I saw an ill-omened specter approach our land. It flitted slowly and heavily over every town and city of the latter. The inhabitants presently set themselves in battle array against each other.

As I continued looking I saw a bright angel on whose brow rested a crown of light, on which was traced the word ‘UNION.’ He was bearing the American flag. He placed the flag between the divided nation and said, ‘Remember, you are brethren.’ “Instantly the inhabitants, casting down their weapons, became friends once more and united around the National Standard.” “Again I heard the mysterious voice saying, ‘Son of the Republic look and learn.’ At this the dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth, and blew three distinct blasts; and taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia and Africa.

THIRD AND MOST FEARFUL PERIL
“Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene. From each of these continents arose thick black clouds that were soon joined into one. And throughout this mass there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men. These men, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and ~ the villages, towns and cities which I had seen springing up.” “As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of the swords, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I again heard the mysterious voice saying, ‘Son of the Republic, look and learn.” Where the voice had ceased, the dark shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth, and blew a long and fearful blast.”

HEAVEN INTERVENES
“Instantly a light as of a thousand suns shone down from above me, and pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. At the same moment the angel upon whose head still shown the word UNION, and who bore our national flag in one hand, and a sword in the other, descended from the heavens attended by, legions of white spirits. These immediately joined the inhabitants of America, who I perceived were well-nigh overcome, but who immediately taking courage again, closed up their broken ranks and renewed the battle.” “Again, amid the fearful noise of the conflict I heard the mysterious voice saying, ‘Son of the Republic, look and learn.’ As the voice ceased the shadowy angel for the last time dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back, together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious.”

“Then once more, I beheld the villages, towns and cities springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with the loud voice: “While the stars remain, and the heaven send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the UNION last.” And taking from his brow the crown on which blazoned the word ‘UNION,’ he placed it upon the Standard while the people, kneeling down, said ‘Amen.”

THE INTERPRETATION
The scene instantly began to fade and dissolve, and I, at last saw nothing but the rising, curling vapor I at first beheld. This also disappeared, and I found myself once more gazing upon the mysterious visitor, who, in the same voice I had heard before, said, ‘Son of the Republic, what you have seen is thus interpreted; Three great perils will come upon the Republic. The most fearful for her is the third. But the whole world united shall not prevail against her. Let every child of the Republic learn to live for his God, his land, and UNION” With these words the vision vanished, and I started from my seat and felt that I had seen a vision wherein had been shown me the birth, the progress, and the destiny of the United States.’”

‘Such, my friends,” the venerable narrator concluded, were the words I heard from Washington’s own lips, and America will do well to profit by them.”

“They need to be challenged as to why they are throwing their lot in with such a group of America-hatings left wing freaks.”

There are only two sides: Good and evil. History, the march of time, is the process that forces us to choose one or the other. There is no middle ground.

*** Sure. I just don’t understand how rifles are going to be effective against tanks and A-20 attack bombers. ***

One on one a rifle wouldn't be effective. But there's other means, methods, tactics and strategy.

Read Sun Tzu's, 'The Art of War' (Even available online). In its basic form it's 13 simple, short chapters. Expanded versions can be had at B&N for +/-$20.00 (B&N Clasics). And when its been followed, what Sun Tsu wrote has worked every time since he wrote it 2,500 years ago(1)(2).

Barry and his commies can have Saul Alinsky, I'll take Sun Tzu.

(1) Think of any major battle in history and it can be explained in 'The Art of War'. Someone either followed it and won, or ignored it and lost.
(2) 'The Art of War' is mandatory study at our Military War Colleges. (at least it used to be)

The new ‘Obama’ America doesn’t care what the ‘so-called’ founders have to say....

“... the Constitution allows for many things, but what it does not allow is the most revealing. The so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom. While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned. While many believed that the new Constitution gave them liberty, it instead fitted them with the shackles of hypocrisy.” Barrack Hussein Obama

“They are the party of death”

Thank you for stating what I have been saying for quite some time. “Death” is both physical (abortion) and spiritual. Total reliance on a nameless, faceless government to provide for every want and need results in spiritual death.

Not in a public forum. Google is your friend. Remember 130,000 of the best troops EVER were needed to suppress an area the size of Kalifornia and the a population 1/10th that of the US. Only 15% of those were terrorists. Read about lessons learned in Iraq and Afcrapistan. 4 guys with an IED and rifles can tie up a company of Marines for most of a day.

All three are complicit in voter fraud and voter intimidation.
