I have been a registered editor at wikipedia for about two and a half years.
The following restriction was just placed on me:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive572#Grundle2600:_continued_problems
"Grundle2600 is subject to an indefinite topic ban - he is prohibited from editing any pages relating to US politics or politicians. The ban will be enforced by escalating blocks."
As a so-called justification for this restriction, the following contributions by me to wikipedia were cited:
"On April 20, 2009, Obama convened his Cabinet for the first time, and ordered them to reduce the $3.5 trillion federal budget by $100 million." Source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/04/19/AR2009041902009.html

You done got Ozotted.
Well no one really looks to Wikipedia for political facts anyway. The entire media is neutered of them. The revisionists want it that way so that they can revise history when immediate facts fade from memory.
Wow, intense. Censorship...pfffftt.
Wikipedia is utterly and completely worthless as a real reliable source, however it plays a large role in shaping public opinion because many school kids mindlessly use it.
The leftists know this, so they entrenched themselves in the Wikipedia hierarchy and use it as a vehicle to promote their agenda. The rules that they put in place are designed to destroy any dissent and ensure that it fits their view of the world.
Given the fact that Wikipeida is as far left as you can possibly get in all ways imaginable it would not surprise me if there was someone in the west wing dedicated to maintaining the page themselves.
Please send this thread’s heading and link to Matt Drudge. His website has a box on the right side of the screen, about half way down, where you can submit it:
Just copy and paste the following into that box. Thank you:
Wikipedia banned me from editing political articles because I added true info about Obama

My edit to the bio of Sun Yat-Sen ("In March 1904, he obtained a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth, issued by the Territory of Hawaii, stating he was born on Nov. 24, 1870 in Kula, Maui by signing a statement declaring so, providing a photograph of himself and having Chinese friends attest to his birth.[5]") linking to an image of the referenced document, is still intact.
Maybe the parallel with the Kenyan is too subtle.
bump
Most colleges won’t even let you use Wikipedia as a source for any document that is written.
One of their positive attributes
Next day he handed in his work.
That afternoon he was drafted and hauled away to the Russian Army out on the Chinese border.
Seems the Communist party already had a position on the problem, and he should have just copied it.
So far you are lucky. Consider it a fair warning to stay away from the Leftwingtards.
Looks like a quite a bunch of editors ganged up there on you. Some of those names seem familiar, maybe demo-underground regulars or some such, might make for some interesting digging.
When dealing with those wikipedia guys, pretend to be moslem. Brag about killing white people by stuffing explosives up your butt, getting close to your target, then detonating your butt-bomb. Google it. It’s the new fashion.
If you keep that up for a couple days, they’ll put you in charge of the wikipedia organization. Then you can post what you want.
BUMP
You shouldn’t be surprised; Wikipedia is horribly biased when it comes to any sort of political topic.
Wikipedia is the home ground of leftists. If you want to keep on doing it, get a different name for reverts, even you would probably get more zots.
Does that mean your new login name will be DISgrundleD?
I predicated the word “facts” with something. Look, what am I doing here? Political facts are not something you’re going to find in the main-stream while political correctness remains the opiate of the masses. And whoever is on the board of Wiki sure isn’t going to bow down to any other false gods.
Next time, try Daily Kos and Huffington Post, like a real reporter would.
The “fact” is that politics is not something you’re going to get the whole story on using Wiki. If Joe Average thinks he can get it then he’s only getting what he deserves. It’s not that they’re lying usually, it’s that they will leave out stuff that might piss someone off. Namely a liberal.
I think the multi-day gap between your replies caused you to forget exactly what we were talking about in the first place.
Wikipedia is considered a credible source. Joe Average will assign the same amount of trust in what Wikipedia says about Sarah Palin as it does about the winners of the Indy 500. This is a problem because Wiki’s articles about conservatism and conservatives are more interested in making both look bad than in being balanced in its descriptions.
Your assertion is that Wikipedia doesn’t matter, and people should trust it at their own peril. You’re right about the latter, but not about the former: Wikipedia DOES matter simply because it’s accessed so frequently. It is considered a neutral source, just like Factcheck (and we know that Factcheck is left-leaning as well.)
Nothing I said in tonight’s replies is somehow a contradiction of what I said days ago.
tl;dr You’re not only wrong that Wikipedia doesn’t matter but you completely forgot what you’re talking about, if you even knew in the first place.
I just “bumped” this thread by “pinging” you to it . . . bumping results in this particular thread climbing to the top of the Latest Comments page.
Ahhh... many thanks, Moderator! I have always wondered how that worked!
