Sacrificial Health Care Lambs
The health care con, perpetrated by the White House, is well under way. The intent is to keep all attention on every morsel of news as it is allowed to leak. The very fact that Americans, by a vast majority, have made their opinions known, yet the incessant push for health care reform continues. It is designed to keep the White House in something of a superior posture to the little people, the voters, who are at the mercy of our all-knowing, omni-present Ruler. Since he has no integrity or moral standing to fall back on, this by itself, is a necessary strategy for him so that the illusion of earned authority remains bolstered. This holds water until people review the difference between elected power and earned authority.
The majority of the health care controversy is on autopilot as far as the White House is concerned so it costs them nothing to let the House hash it out publicly. Meantime, Dear Leader has his sights set on the Copenhagen environmental conference that will open in December of 09. When Airforce One departs the runway, at Andrews AFB. just stand back and wave good-bye to American sovereignty. When Dear Leader gets to Copenhagen he will meet with the leaders of third world, tin cup countries and will sign irrevocable treaties giving them inspection and authority over Americas environmental pollicies.
In any case, when Van Jones was ushered out of his job at the White House, he did not join the ranks of the little people in the unemployment lines. He was ushered into one of Dear Leaders think tanks, probably keeping his inflated salary. The same will take place for new, young or contested Democrats in the House. Every effort will be made to force through the health care bill, even if it means the loss of several elected positions. One would think the ballot box would be the start and stop of a career but this is not the case.
When Big Government is firmly in place, positions suitable for a Freshman Congressman are plentiful. Many of our representatives will abandon the will of the people for a paid off future. The election was only a stepping stone to the goodies. The story of Tom Dashel who is no longer a viable candidate for dogcatcher, sums up the strategy. Tom is making piles of money based on who he eats lunch with rather than his ability. Had he paid taxes on these huge of earnings, he would have a place of influence within Dear Leaders administration. He didnt think that any fool would ever summon him into the public spotlight so he didnt bother to pay them thank goodness.
Dont be surprised when your favorite, home town Blue Dog Democrat turns tail, unexpectedly, at the last second and votes for the power grab coming at us like a runaway locomotive. The fix is in. Chicago politics is alive and well in DC. Our friend Rolm Immanual has already prepared a list of cushy positions, with bright futures for the pre-selected sacrificial lambs. They already know who they are. We dont.
As someone else mentioned, think of it as the “Throw Granny Under the Bus Act” if it seems confusing.
There is no such thing as "irrevocable treaties". Under the (commonly held) formalist theory of contract, a valid contract must have all six of the elements: offer, acceptance, consideration, meeting of the minds, capacity and legality. Just as a man cannot sign himself into slavery, there is no consideration that qualifies for a valid contract in return for our sovereignty. Nor can the community organizer in our White House legally enter into contracts in violation of our Constitution - even a lawful president could not do that. I hope and pray that almost every act taken by Obama and treaty signed under the former US Senator's orders will be repealed in a blanket executive order on January 20, 2013 ... by President Palin or by a similarly patriotic American.
