The BBC came under siege as Nick Griffin, the leader of the BNP, used his appearance on Question Time to attack Muslims and homosexuals while defending the Ku Klux Klan.
Mr Griffin said Islam was not compatible with life in Britain, while describing homosexuals as "creepy". However, he admitted sharing a platform with the Ku Klux Klan, which has carried out racist attacks across America’s Deep South, and defended leaders in the organisation as "non-violent".

The BNP leader could not explain why he had previously sought to play down the Holocaust and defended his use of Sir Winston Churchill on BNP literature on the basis that his father had fought in the Second World War. He claimed that Churchill would have been a member of the BNP and was "Islamaphobic" by "today’s standard". Asked whether he denied that millions of Jews and other minorities had been killed by the Nazis, Mr Griffin would only reply: "I do not have a conviction for Holocaust denial."
He was then chastised by David Dimbleby, the host of the programme, for smiling.
The controversial statements were made in response to intense questioning by members of the audience from ethnic minorities.
BBC Television Centre in west London came under siege as filming took place, with MPs joining hundreds of protesters behind lines of police.

True, but then again, those Bums, Nimrods, and Pricks are some of the last Britons who actually love their homeland and aren’t afraid to stand up for it in the polling places and the street.
What a sad situation all around.
An existing party, or a new one, should take up its valid issues without the baggage of the party or noxious leaders.

The two things seem entirely compatible if you're a xenophobe - you simply hate all 'foreigners'. For not dissimilar reasons British xenophobes hate both the EU and the USA.
I don’t know....but do some research on their leader, he is a holocaust denier.
How can I put this? Attacking Muslims wins you lots of votes with the wide sections of the disgruntled British populace (especially the white working classes), whereas attacking Jews makes you look like a very quaint Nazi douchebag who is still clinging to a failed ideology that is clearly over 60 years past it’s sell-by date....
But Griffin said he was the only one of the speakers to support Israel’s recent bombing of Gaza.
He joined the party when it was an avowedly Nazi organisation that hated Jews, and he has had a past history of Holocaust Denial. He doesn’t attack Jews anymore because there aren’t any votes in it. His aim is to make the BNP as electable as possible, and he knows the best way to do this is to focus as much of the hatred onto muslims as possible, because they’re probably the most loathed demographic segment over the broadest section of British society. The only people who still harbour and express feelings of hatred against Jews are a handful of Hitler-worshipping kooks and losers with few ‘friends’ other than those they meet on ‘Stormfront’. The only reason Nick Griffin isn’t amongst them is that he is savvy enough to realise there is no point in being anti-semitic in 21st century Britain, wheras the Islamaphobe can carve out a sizable niche for himself in modern British Fringe politics....
Griffin is trying to expand the party's base beyond the dole-collecting yobs to actual productive British citizens. We shall see if he succeeds.

I watched most of the show and it is obvious his main message is that its ok for Brits to keep Britain British.
It looks like the Left will not allow this because they are set on tearing down all vestiges of the cultures that built modern society. Its ok to have give Africa back to Africans but it is not ok for Brits to run Britain.
