(CNN) -- Arizona police are looking for a man who they allege ran down his daughter and her friend because he believed his daughter had become "too Westernized."
Police say they're looking for Faleh Hassan Almaleki, who they say struck two people with a vehicle Tuesday.
Peoria, Arizona, police said Wednesday that Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, struck his 20-year-old daughter, Noor Faleh Almaleki, and her friend Amal Edan Khalaf with a vehicle he was driving in a parking lot Tuesday afternoon.
Faleh Hassan Almaleki was angry with his daughter "as she had become too 'Westernized' and was not living according to [the family's] traditional Iraq[i] values," Peoria police said in a statement released Wednesday.

Why do these fundamentalists live in or move to America if they want their wives and daughters to adhere to a strict lifestyle? They want the freedom that American offers them, but not for their wives and daughters? They’re terrorists plotting from within and need to be here? It is a good sign that the young woman involved apparently was trying to not adhere to the “law” of her father. Perhaps the one hope for the future is that a certain number of these young people will rebel against this barbaric heritage they are stuck with.

I read somewhere that the higher-ups in their religion strongly discourage “love”. Hence, I suspect their probably isn’t what we would consider familial “love”, particularly towards girl children.
On the plus side, Peoria is in Maricopa County, which means that when this bird is taken up by the authorities, he is going to get to experience the awe and mystery of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s tent city jail.
I hope he likes bologna and trail mix. Because that is what he is going to be eating for a long time. While wearing pink underwear.
