CNN’s Carol Costello began a new series on political talk radio on Monday’s American Morning, suggesting it was unfairly dominated by conservatives, and brought on a liberal psychiatrist who theorized that Rush Limbaugh has an audience because he’s “operating like the bully, and if you’re on the playground...you want to be...under the bully’s wing and go along with him and get...some power by proxy.”
The correspondent’s report, which aired just before the bottom of the 7 am Eastern hour, was the first installment in a “special series on talk radio,” according to anchor John Roberts.
Costello zeroed in on the listeners and why the format “can capture people for such long periods of time.” A graphic on the screen during her report heralded “anger on the air: what listeners don’t know about talk radio.”
Towards the end of her report, the CNN correspondent played a sound bite from radical left-wing host Randi Rhodes, who speculated that “the reason they don’t passionately listen to liberal talk radio is access” (Costello outrageously downplayed Rhodes’s political leanings by describing her as someone whom “many consider a liberal talker”).
The “liberal talker” noted that apparently, “ninety-one percent of talk radio is conservative.” Costello continued that “according to Talkers magazine, liberal talkers fill just nine percent of the nation’s news talk radio on the commercial dial.
Change that, Rhodes says, and liberal listeners would listen just as much.”

PBS is full of cartoons, and some of them are pure indoctrination. I can’t stand to see them. Glad I don’t have grandkids.
They seriously don't understand what this means.
All must be (and is) directed from some central dictating body, in their world.
This is why they seek to gain control of that central body, because "the market", ie, the natural laws and consequences, never work in their favor. This leads them to believe that the central controlling entity, whatever it is, is intentionally acting against them.

Let me see....the liberal viewpoint is promulgated on 4 out of 5 TV networks, nearly all of Hollywood’s output, NPR, and most newspapers-the liberal slant simply cannot be escaped, but one conservative talker dominates AM-freaking radio, and HE’S a bully.

Here’s my dime-store psychoanalysis, since everyone is an expert, so am I.
Liberals don’t listen to talk radio because they are afraid to engage the world. Liberals have an avoidant personality, and they would prefer to immerse themselves in entertainment (FM radio) as an aversion to reality.
Conservatives do not have a fear based mentality, and view life as an opportunity at best, and as a challenge at it’s worst, and thus are prone to engage and participate. This is why they appreciate talk radio. Information and discussion gets them involved.
Liberals are not concerned with anything that they have to deal with, only with what they are to be given. Fast food, FM radio, and freebies.
This entire argument is a perfect illustration of why liberal policies are destroying this country. In their minds it’s all about parity. In their minds, if there were an equal amount of conservative and liberal talk radio shows, then people would listen equally between them. In their minds, the lack of liberal talk shows is because the radio stations are in some conspiracy to keep them out. They just can’t fathom the idea that it’s about what the consumer wants. Liberal shows barely exist because people who listen to talk radio don’t want to listen to them.
It’s the same with our economy. In the liberal mind, they can’t fathom the idea of competition determining which businesses are in power and which ones go under. In their minds, it’s simply a matter of putting two choices side-by-side and both will flourish even though 90%+ of the consumers don’t want option two.

A group of us guys from college used to chum about after work, go to ballgames, etc. We were a pretty conservative bunch sans one guy we suspected was closet gay. He was what you would call metro sexual. The coiffed hair, nice square toed shoes, perfectly iron slacks. He read all the right books and had a pithy wit that reminded me of the Ethan Hawk character in the movie Reality Bites. He had an answer for everything, hated then George B ush 41 and acted like overall know it all liberal jack-ass. Well smarty here had a very hot GF, way too hot for Mr. 138lbs soaking wet liberalista. He had a nice job doing sales in Daddy’s company but seemed to never be at work always in Vegas or on vacation. Anyways turns out Ms. Way To Hot found Mr Enlightened way too stupid and too effeminate and was getting a little some some on the side side for another dude in the peer group. She ditched Keith Olberman Jr. about the time we did his obnoxious butt , she married my bud and 20 years later and 3 kids still married. She has some great insights on liberal men and their neuroses. Liberals hate anyone being happy and anyone who disagrees with them..PERIOD
