In an amusing case of the pot calling the kettle, Anna Burger, the Secretary-Treasurer of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), told Representative Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) that the SEIU had dumped ACORN during a Sept. 30 hearing conducted by the House Financial Services Committee. Apparently Mrs. Burger felt that ACORN was too toxic for the SEIU to associate with.
Certainly it is quite amazing that the SEIU has taken the step to dump ACORN as a vendor. Groups such as SEIU rarely reassess associations preferring to stubbornly stick to their guns in most cases.
During the hearing, Rep. McHenry mentioned to Mrs. Burger that the U.S. Census Bureau, the IRS, and even Bank of America had cut ties with ACORN because of the community organizer’s declining credibility and apparent criminal activities. Burger replied, “SEIU has also cut all ties to ACORN.”
“We have. In Illinois, I believe that I’m correct, that the ACORN institution, the consumer protection, the community organization in Illinois cut its ties to ACORN two years ago and so in Illinois there was [sic] no ties in the last two years between any SEIU work and ACORN.”

They “dumed” Acorn and went with a “New” group, Community Organizations International...
Which is what ACORN is under it’s new name.
These people REALLY DO believe the sheeple are stupid. Sadly, the sheeple keep proving them right.
The members of SEIU better wake up soon before the hammer comes down on them the same as it did on ACORN. When the health bill passes and the crap hits the fan SEIU better duck. Americans are getting pissed.
Self preservation only... They know that Acorn is lost and just trying to distance themselves from them. Too bad though that most of America see them as the violent arm of Acorn.

TOO LATE, SEIU ... you will forever be known as the THUGS that Beat up that skinny little BLACK MAN with the Flags.. and put him in a WHEELCHAIR (temporary don’t matter).
And to me you will always be known as the “PURPLE PEOPLE BEATERS”
Are we so intimidated? Maybe I’m being nitpicky, but is Mr. Houston afraid to use the word BLACK. He said “the pot calling the kettle”, but then he left the word that gives meaning to the phrase.

In other news, Patrick Kennedy says that William Smith is a rapist and that Smith’s family cannot be trusted.
Every kid goes through a phase where it thinks that it’s mother and father are toxic and stupid.
What a crock. SEIU is an tentacle of ACORN.
I bet Beck and the net do not let them get away with this.
