NEW YORK (AP) - The Rev. Al Sharpton on Saturday threatened to sue conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh for writing in a column that the civil rights leader played a role in two New York race riots.
In a column published by the Wall Street Journal on Saturday about his derailed bid to become part-owner of the St. Louis Rams, he accuses Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson of making comments that helped get him booted from a group that was trying to buy the NFL team.
Limbaugh derided Sharpton as having played "a leading role in the 1991 Crown Heights riot" and the "1995 Freddie's Fashion Mart riot."

Sharpton did incite (not convicted) the fire and deaths at Freddy’s men’s store in Harlem which was Jewish owned with some black employees. Not so sure about the Crown Heights riots....prolly not

In my many years of experience in business, I have ALWAYS witnessed one constant - when someone threatens to sue, he really has no case, and knows it. A person who really has been damaged and has a real clear cause of action doesn't’t threaten suit, he simply brings it and sues.
Sharpton’s gross inability to keep his pie-hole shut is only exceeded by his manifest irrelevance in all things political, social and financial or anything else of any significance in our world.
