Doesn’t matter the AFTER-birthers will say it’s a lie. Of course they will even when we see his real BC.

Article in Nairobi Paper June 2004 - Barack born in Africa
An ongoing poll by AOL News currently shows that 58% of Americans have doubts
about Obamas citizenship. The poll was started on July 28 and continues you can go
here to vote. And lest you think that this survey is being conducted in a very anti-Obama
venue, the title of the article is Birthers, Beer and Stuck on Stupidly it is an
environment contemptuous of skeptics. So we can conclude that the results of their poll
are not what they were hoping for.
A scant five years ago, Barack Obama was a little known Illinois state politician, aspiring
to move up to the United States Senate. Undoubtedly, the Marxist handlers behind this
Manchurian candidate had long range plans to capture the US presidency since he was
groomed as a youth by Frank Marshall Davis. But the general public and the press were
not privy to this information.
At that time, there would have been no reason to fabricate a story about Obamas birth
that would disqualify him for the highest US office. This would be especially true for an
African paper that was simply proud of their native son. So it is reasonable to take the
press clippings of the day at face value. The following item has been on the web all
along, but apparently did not get much attention. It is a June 2004 article from the online
version of the East African Standard, an English-language paper published in Nairobi,
Kenya, titled Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate.

US Presidential Polls:Obama, McCain slug it out today
WASHINGTON Americans will today go to the polls to elect their next President with
Democratic Party candidate, Senator Barack Obama largely favoured to win.
The Kenyan-born Senator will, however, face a stiff competition from his Republican
counterpart, John McCain who has taken the presidential battle to the finishing line with
vigorous campaign strategies.

Americans Decide Today - go Obama (this site hasn't been scrubbed yet)
So far, the odds favour the once underdog in American politics, Obama, the African-American Senator from Illinois State .
A Congressional Quarterly (CQ) politics monitored on BBC put the Kenyan born American ahead of his rival, Senator McCain.
D.C. Tech Official Is Accused of Bribery(Birth Certificate Forgery)
A D.C. government official and a business executive were arrested yesterday on bribery
charges involving city technology contracts that included "ghost" workers and
kickbacks, federal authorities said. Until recently, the technology office was headed
by Vivek Kundra, who has taken a job as President Obama's chief information officer.
A White House official confirmed last night that Kundra has taken a leave of absence.
Yusuf Acar, 40, who has worked in the technology office since 2004, was charged with
bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and conflict of interest.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Hibarger told a federal judge that Acar is a flight risk because agents
seized $70,000 in cash in his house and because in recorded conversations, he boasted that he could easily flee to his native Turkey.
Acar also told the informant that he could use
computers to create fake D.C. birth certificates, Hibarger said.

So how many publications or utterences are on record as contemporaneously claiming Hussein was foreign born?
Sorry for my ignorance, but by the time I became interested, the BC threads were so in the weeds it was/is impossible to catch up.

So what? No matter what we do or say we will still be branded racists. So why not go that route at least defending what we still have left of this country. Personally, I don’t care what they call me anymore. Look what they did to Rush and he never even said what they are accusing him of saying. I say what the poster posted, class action lawsuit.
To: chatter4
It appears that Americans don’t care. Frankly, I’m not surprised by that...nor am I surprised that “the one” has questionable origins.

What To Believe?
The only thing we KNOW about Barack Hussein Obama II is we don’t KNOW a damned thing about him.
Kenya Sunday Standard headline — “Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate”
The Kenya Standard — “It seems Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States of America (via a sleepy village in Kenya called Nyangoma KOgelo) can do no wrong.”
The Nigerian Observer — “Americans will today go to the polls to elect their next President with Democratic Party candidate, Senator Barack Obama largely favoured to win. The Kenyan-born Senator will...”
AllAfrica.com — “ Little wonder then why Kenyan-born Barack Obama, America’s first Black President...”
GraphicGhana.com — “For Ghana, Obama’s visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American President on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth.”
The same article, with the same quote, appeared in ModernGhana.com.
And The Ghana Times — “So far, the odds favour the once underdog in American politics, Obama, the African-American Senator from Illinois state. A Congressional Quarterly (CQ) politics monitored on BBC put the Kenyan born American ahead of his rivel, John McCain.”
Then there’s Mama Sarah, Obama’s step-grandmother. She said Obama was born in Kenya, and she was there.
Then there’s the recording of the Kenyan Ambassador saying Obama was born in Kenya on the “Mike In The Morning” show on WRIF radio, in Detroit.
Then there’s the guy with the Kenyan birth certificate.
Ok, ok, none of these are “official” sources — but this one is:
The Kenyan National Assembly, Official Report, Wednesday, 5th November, 2008 — “Dr. Khalwale: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. You have heard none other than the Leader of Government Business acknowledge that because of Obama’s win in the United States of America (USA), the House is crippled. Could we allow him to move a Motion for Adjournment so we could also continue the celebrations of having a Kenyan ruling the USA? I humbly request.”
There have also been cites from more regular press outlets such as the Daily Telegraph in the UK.

Like all company names, AP must be legally trade marked (copyrighted?). Hard to believe they would permit another wire service anywhere to use that well known identifier.

So how many publications or utterances are on record as contemporaneously claiming Hussein was foreign born? Unknown. As soon as sources are found, they are eliminated, just like when they threw Barry's Illinois Senate Office records through the tree-chipper machine (except for his office chair of course, THAT is in a museum). The trail is snuffed at every step. If Barry's travel records, appointment records, or campaign phone records were known, Larry Sinclair's stories may seem credible - and we CAN'T have THAT, you know.

I don’t think it’s a secret that Barack Obama’s ties to Kenya were openly discussed in the mid-90’s by the Chicago media. A good researcher could probably still find them - whether campaign interviews or post-election for Illinois Senator or articles relating to traveling to campaign for Odinga.

Newspapers often add local interest tidbits to AP stories. Since the story ran in a Kenyan paper, the Standard most likely added the “Kenyan born” comment to give people a reason to read the article.
It would be great if this was a major piece in the puzzle, but it is probably just an editor adding something he heard to the story to make it interesting to the Kenyan locals.
To: MediaMole
I’m not so sure it’s legit.
I followed this link....
http://www.theobamafile.com/ObamaLatest.htm
to read the original story. When I clicked on the home link, I see that I was bounced to the next day’s addition.
I’ll keep playing with it but for now, I wouldn’t guess this story was legit.
To: chatter4
Yeah, and newspapers always get the stories correct, huh? Could have been a misprint, really.
Let's face it, a MOUNTAIN of hard evidence will be needed to force Zero to resign. Clinton was caught and impeached, but still escaped removal. It will be tough going.
While I'm a firm believer in, "Where there's smoke, there's fire," it's plain to me that this whole "birther" thing has been corrupted by an avalanche of misinformation, hearsay, forgeries, and fraud. Still, I have my fingers crossed.
