Jason Cullen, an Independent candidate for New Jersey Governor, is a conservative not bound by party politics. Jason is a hard working middle class New Jersey resident who is looking to bring the peoples voice back to the government. He believes in the free market, fiscal responsibility, budgeted and effective government spending. Jason is someone who will stand up for what he believes in and is willing to go the distance if it means doing what is right for New Jersey, not for its special interest groups.
The time has come to follow George Washingtons advice that political parties would become self-serving and ultimately harmful to the country. Its time for a government that governs on principle. A government that truly represents your voice. A government that is of the people, by the people, and FOR THE PEOPLE! Join me, and together lets bring New Jersey back to the people.
Jason Cullen 2009 New Jersey Gubernatorial Candidate
Don't know anything about him aside from what's here, so if anyone has any additional info to share about him go for it.
So what happen to Daggett?? Isn’t he suppose to be the independent?????
Some people never learn.
Have the last three years taught the Dogma Uber Alles crowd nothing about how politics works in a Republic?
For Jersey Freeps who don’t like Christie, you’ll love having Corzine back in the governor’s mansion ~ bolder than ever, taxing you for every breath that you take.
Daggett is independent, but he’s pro-abortion, pro-stem cell, pro-gay marriage...need I say more.

I couldn’t vote for him.
Oh, wait....I’m sorry. I thought my vote was mine to give as I see fit. I didn’t realize I owed it to the GOP collective.
Yes, yes, I’m a brain-dead moron and a shill for Corzine.
I gotta read this crap on the NJ Board, now I have to read it on the main board.....
EARTH TO CLAUD:
If you want to elect Corslime again vote third party!
The NJ GOP is NOT conservative, never will be and a true conservative will never be elected here...that’s the truth, get over it.
I can’t stand Corslime, I will vote Christie, he’s our only chance.
The others are just pipedreams!
It’s the middle of October, and I have never heard of this guy before.
Claud,as you well know Jersey is Jersey. We have every problem that is possible, corruption & political greed being at the top of anyones long list. Cullen does look to be our guy in the future, but we cannot go for him now. It seems that christinechristie is our perpetual “hold your nose vote”, so hold your nose with one hand & your sanity w/the other. In the meantime let’s keep plugging.
Really? I can determine the entire election with my puny little vote? Wow! You shoulda told me earlier...I'll just write in Schundler!
Hey thanks! I feel much better about this election now!
Meh...I’ve been holding my nose in elections for a long time. I voted for that guy who ran with Palin for Pete’s sake.
You all do what you gotta do, but I think I’ll give my nose and sanity a rest this time...they are both a little sore.
This jackass Cullen needs to withdraw from the race. Today. NOW. File the papers. Get off the damn ballot, you stupid moron.
Cullen? Is he a vampire?
Christie been running lot of anti Dagget ads recently -
pointing out his is nothing but Corzine clone.
Actaully Dagget pulls more votes from Corzine than Christie
many rats dispise Corzine, but wont vote for a Pub
Only a moron would vote for Cullen, or any other independent candidate.
Face it, in NJ, you are not going to see a FReeper-style conservative elected to statewide office. You just aren;t. Give that stupid pipe-dream fantasy up right now, and save yourself a lot of future heartbreak.
Voting Cullen is a good way to hand the office back to Corzine, which substantiates my suspicion that “conservative” third party candidates are generally nothing more than de facto Democrat moles designed to split the Right vote and hand elections to Democrats. There are a few exceptions (Hoffman, in NY-23 comes to mind), but this generally holds.
Better to have a guy who’s with us half the time than one who’s with us none of the time.
Yeah, but remember, the only two REAL CONSERVATIVES in America are Claud and his chosen candidate.
Yeah, nice. Way to make stuff up. I posted this for people who don't want to vote for Christie and want other options. Never said anything about Christie voters not being real conservatives.
Daggett is running as an independent, but looking at his positions, he’s Corslime’s mini-me.
How do you know there are as many as two Real Conservatives? How do you know Claud and Cullen aren’t one and the same person? Just askin’
Similar Its MINE to pissaway!! is the philosophy that gave all of us nobama
In order to pull votes away from the Republican candidate, a stalking horse has to at least appear conservative. Buyer beware.
“I didnt realize I owed it to the GOP collective.”
LOL!
LOL!
“Only a moron would vote for Cullen, or any other independent candidate.”
I don’t necessarily agree.
I would not vote for Cullen, and I can’t fault my Garden State friend for voting his conscience, but there does have to be some sense of reality; third party votes will draw away from an electable, more conservative option than Corzine.
If you simply can’t vote for Christie, as a matter of conscience, go ahead and vote for Cullen, just don’t delude yourself into thinking that your candidate has any chance to win. He doesn’t. You live in a wacked out left wing state. Your dumb as dirt Governor makes my corrupt moron Governor look like a brainiac.
NJ politicians are as corrupt as the day is long and the majority NJ voters (more than 50%), in general, are dumber than rocks. They’ll vote for higher taxes, unemployment and more corruption without even batting an eye.
Sure, you’d love to have a common sense conservative in office, but that’s just not going to happen.
Baby steps! It’s hard, but baby steps is how it’s got to be.
Sincerely, best of luck to you, Claud. No matter what you may decide.
Thanks for a small ray of reasonableness amidst all the party hysterics.
I largely agree with what you’ve said and my typical tactic in general elections has been to vote for the semi-conservative candidate over the flaming lib (e.g. Bush). This time I am going to shake things up a bit, and after Bailout Nation I am thinking maybe I’ll just vote for the guy I like and nuts to all the rest.
Or maybe I’ll make people happy here by voting for the Socialist Party guy....take a vote away from Corzine. ;)
“Thanks for a small ray of reasonableness amidst all the party hysterics.”
I’m no fan of the GOP. I’m a Christian Conservative and an independent.
I was raised in NJ (North Wildwood) and you guys have got a tough road to hoe in that state. I still have family in the Garden State and it makes me sick to see what Corzine and the legislature are doing to good, decent, hard working people there. They are being punished. It is absolutely criminal.
Maryland ain’t much better, but we had a moderate Republican Governor here a few years back and the conservative puritans at the Maryland board here at FR were always complaining about him, as though he were Barney Frank.
Now that we have Martin O’Mally, those very same people who wouldn’t vote for Ehrlich, because he was a moderate make the biggest stink about the current governor’s tax and spend policies.
Vote your concscience. If you really like Cullen. It just isn’t possible that he could win and I think it would be better if he released his constituents to vote for Christie, that he may effect some change in the event that Christie goes on to win the state.
What I don’t understand is how anyone thinks voting for Christie will help. If the Republicans want to ever have a conservative candidate over the next twenty years, they can’t keep having moderates in offices. What’s really sad is that there are many choices of which people are not aware. For all of the people who say they are voting for one person to keep another out of office could rally behind another candidate, there are twelve, and vote him into office. Have you not seen Christie’s past sways and stances on issues? He’s a Democrat. I will vote for Jason Cullen because that is where my principles lead me. After all, there are enough choices to vote by your principles.
