A day lot and millions of dollars short.
That’s like apologizing to a man you ran over and has died .... at his burial site.
CNN is covering their rear end.
Sanchez is just a drive-by reporter, literally.
What a slimeball scuzzy slimy piece of crap....
Did Sanchez resign?
See you in court, Slanderboy
“What a slimeball scuzzy slimy piece of crap....”
Here’s hoping that that slimy piece and CNN become a lot lighter in the wallet after Limbaugh gets through with them.
Yep, it’s Friday and I expect much of the same from outlets this weekend. They tried to destroy Rush in a calculated way have have been busted.
I pray Rush goes after them and owns CNN in the end, but I look for Rush to move on.
I think he was drunk during that presentation, wasn’t he?

If you have time, leave a comment on the Sanchez mocking YouTube.
I think Rush has already filed the suit, Rick!
Well, Sanchez surprises me by actually saying, “I apologize.” This might be the first time he’s done that.
Yesterday, I posted in FR that Sanchez wasn’t man enough to apologize. Looks like I was wrong about that.
It’s a pretty good apology. At least, it’s not an “I’m sorry TO THOSE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN OFFENDED” apology.
What would have made it better is his admission of bias. “What particularly troubles me,” he could have said, “is that I’m quite sure we never would have run this story about a prominent liberal. If we heard allegations that Ted Kennedy said something equally shocking, we’d have nailed that story down hard before ever running it. But we didn’t do that about Rush Limbaugh, and we are left to wonder why.”
some apology...
I am virtually w/o doubt that Rush will take the high road, but...it’s too bad.
It’s too bad because people who ALREADY like him are the ones to whom it will matter, and for those who do not know Rush, well...mostly are those folks who think they do NOT like him.
And...CNN does understand money, but the whole notion of shame is sort of lost on them.
As a matter of principle it’s great Rush will take the high road, but to really IMPROVE society, well...he should simply sue the crap out of them....
That was as much an apology as the Dan Rather statements about the forged National Guard records he used to smear GWB.
(Fake but true.)
Friday afternoon apology, traditionally the slowest newsday, after continually promoting the knowingly made up quotes as truth.
Most of the sheep will just believe the meme that Rush is a racist, it’s not even up for debate with half the country.
This is pure EVIL.
If there were pending court cases then Rush would also have to choose his words more carefully and completely avoid some subjects until the cases were resolved. Moving on seems like the best strategy.
Why can’t liberals ever really apologize for what they’ve done? How about, instead of just blaming your team for not independently corroborating, you apologize for engaging in a smear campaign against a guy you disagree with politically? It’s more than not being a decent journalist and not checking your stories before reporting, which is the method du jour for the media. This is about deliberately bringing down someone for his political beliefs.
SANCHEZ: “...and that should also include my team...”
That’s the money quote. This guys an arrogant butt just like the rest of the liberals. He wouldn’t know the meaning of responsibility if it bit him on the teleprompter.
Sanchez is a lying hypocrite and his apology is phony. He’ll use these again sometime.
Rush should sue Sanchez for more than he’s worth and see if he can wind up owning CNN.
“Sanchez is just a drive-by reporter, literally.”
Yes, he is the epitome of a “hit and run” reporter.
Not only that, but I'm shocked it wasn't the standard liberal non-apology that starts with, "I apologize if...
Too late. Sue him, or at least mock him endlessly on radio.
It was bad enough when a newspaper would error on the front page, and then put the apology on the back page.
It's worse when a network repeatedly runs an error in a prime time show, and then put the apology on Twitter.
Many people, like me, don't use Twitter, and will never see the apology.
I will not consider it an apology until Sanchez says it on camera on his show.

The luxury of calling oneself a "moderate" is over. Very soon, sides are going to be chosen and things are going to get very, very ugly in our communities.
Oops, sorry I cost you millions Mr. Limbaugh, oh well.......wanna go get some pizza?
I apologize, but mission accomplished..Rush is out as a minority owner of the Rams..
CNN is done. They need to be buried asap.
Liberals can never admit they were wrong.
If he had really WANTED to apologize, rather than having been forced into it, he would have used a recent video of Rush Limbaugh, or none at all, instead of having that large video of Rush at his highest weight playing constantly in the split screen as Sanchez “apologized”.
Although Sanchez didn’t appear to be enjoying himself in this production as much as he obviously love slandering Rush earlier, he did seem to have a sense of satisfaction that he was at least able to accompany his pretense of an apology with the outdated video footage of Rush.
This wording of this “apology” was couched in terms meant to make him appear to be doing it because his only interest is journalistic integrity. R-i-i-i-ght.
The left are such disgusting liars. If they can’t find one way of lying they try another.
Why’s he still working in journalism _at all_?
“At least, its not an Im sorry TO THOSE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN OFFENDED apology.”
IMHO, those are worse than no apology at all. It’s akin to saying: “I’m sorry so many of you are morons”.
Why can’t he have done an apology like this:
“I am sorry I called Rush Limbaugh a Racists and insinuated him as such, i have spoken to several people close to Rush and they have corrected me on this issue, Rush Limbaugh is not a racist and I was wrong for insinuating that he is. I take full responsibility for this error. And in the future I will try to source my quotes better with at least an audio clip with several seconds on each side of any statement so that any clip used shall be within it’s own context.”
But i digress, the real newsmen are long since DEAD!

Someone got some calls from lawyers....
Too late.
Maybe they’ll print a letter of apology in the NYS or send him an apology letter then he can sell it for charity or service members. /s
Dirty Sanchez
Rick Sanchez looked sincere...i dont care for they guy, but I think he was brought up well....and his mom probably grabbed him by the ear last night...Miho!!!
Good for Rick...He did more than alot of conservative hosts to support Rush.
That’s a great idea...I bet Rush is calculating as we speak/type...
jus’ afraid of getting sued.
that’s all!
I disagree. It was two minutes of negatives about Rush and about 15 seconds of saying he shouldn't have used a quote he didn't independently confirm, leaving the viewer to believe it was true, just not independently confirmed. In addition they used a video of Rush about 80 pounds heavier than he is now...no bias there. /s
Did anybody watch CNN?
