When a defense lawyer walked into a county courtroom Thursday and told Lefferreio Sudds' family that he would get four years in prison for setting two dogs on fire, the boy's mother thanked God. She had expected six or seven.
Entering the room a few minutes later, Sudds, 17, looked skinny in his baggy prison stripes. He nodded at his mother, shook his head, then turned to the judge and pleaded guilty.
Diane Sudds cried. Two months ago, her husband had been sent to prison for cruelty to dogs. Now her son.
It was a chilly Saturday night in April when two pit bull terriers bolted down a street in South Dallas, covered in flames. Witnesses said Sudds and another teen, Jucorey Davis, fled the scene when questioned. The boys were arrested a few weeks later.
"The dogs were in unimaginable pain," said animal rights activist Jonnie England, who photographed the animals just before they were euthanized. Part of one dog's face had been burned off

wonder if he’ll have little monsters that will go postal
Meanwhile, folks keep excusing Vick for the same thing.
Six or seven years would have been better to keep this scum away from the human race as long as possible.
I can’t even BEGIN to tell you what I would like to do to this teen and jail is not one of the options. I’m sure Texans could come up with some good alternatives - one of which I believe involves a gravel road and some chain. Maybe even a gun or two.
Parts of this young man will feel like they are on fire in prison I’m betting...
What the hell is wrong with kids today??? Absolutely void of any empathy or compassion. In Deerfield Beach the other day, kids set a 14 yr old boy on fire! Is something in the water? It’s shocking. There should be zero tolerance for any human being imposing any kind of suffering on anything!! I’m talking from gleefully crushing a mouse on video to setting humans on fire. EXECUTE THEM.

Really? How could this happen???
People who kill humans have generally be very cruel to animals in their past. If you can do something vile to one living being, it makes it easier to do to humans.
Dogs are particularly a good marker because they are a higher level of being that say a frog or a rat or some other smaller animal. The writhing pain exhibited by a dog, comes closer to what a human would exhibit if harmed.
Look, I’m no psychologist, I’m just going by my gut reaction to what I have seen. IMO, this kid is a real threat to humans. Taking that into consideration, I would rather see him separated from the public for as long as is legally possible.
Four years, IS NOT long enough.
This kid WILL kill at least one human in the future.
That’s just my opinion. We shall see...
.30 .30 Winchester, meet punk ass little kid that picks on dogs.

Must be a mistake, only the Amish do such things.
After he gets out, probably much sooner than four years, what are the odds that he’ll do it again, but to a human being? Probably a schoolgirl.
Those darned Amish, again.
I mean honestly. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH EVERYONE!??
Note that this particular incident didn’t happen when Bush was in office.
Don't feel bad. St. Francis of Assissi had yet to earn a psychology degree when he observed:
"If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."
Very well put.
I knew a man years ago who thought it was fun to catch mice, tie a firecracker around them, light it and let them loose. They blew up real well. He also killed chickens just for fun, till his parents made him clean up the mess.
He was white, so they ceme in all shades.
Thanks for the mention. That was nice.
When I was about four years old, I remember that we had one of the kids from church over to our farm. I can still remember this kid’s name to this day. He was adopted. He proceeded to take a frog and mistreat it in front of the other kids. I wouldn’t participate in watching.
It was related to me that he took a nail and killed the frog, just for the fun of it. That seemed senseless to me at the time. It still does.
I’ve always wondered what ever happened to that kid.
You’re being too nice....Hang’ins too good for him, shoot’ins too good for him, he should be torn into little bitty pieces and buried alive!!!!!!!
Or a head shot from 25 ft away with a Desert Eagle .50 pistol would be just as good......
Get rid of this Spawn of the Devil. I’m surprised the Father isn’t already on death row....
Unless people like this get right with the Creator, they will pay a lot more severe price than 4 years in prison.
Gross misuse of anti-depressants. Users don't feel depressed - or anything else.
On the street, anti-depressants are called "soul-suckers" (no joke).
Fawn,
It most always is the upbringing. Real bad folks being parents or no parents at all.
Also, way cool photos of the albino deer, thanks

Hopefully, someone will crush his G-D skull in prison...

...or they could just set him on fire and whip out the marshmallows.
i think we should ban fire.
Is he an Eagles fan?
From your mouth to God’s Ears.....
There is Evil that begs to be CRUSHED out....
What amazes me, is that I thought it pretty much was stomped out.
Hey, it’s out there and slime balls are still into it.
Judgment day can’t come soon enough for the lot of them IMO.
Thanks for the response.
I was going to ask if this kid runs a 4.3 forty, or can throw a football through a brick wall? If he can do either, he’s perfect NFL material.
Word
Sign that man to an NFL contract. NOW!
This guy belongs in a mental institution. Setting dogs on fire is a gateway violent crime that will inevitably lead to crueler violence against increasingly more evolutionized creatures. If it were up to me, I’d have him put to sleep.
Just too depressing...
Thank you, Doughty one!
