While I found the clip in a post at http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/, I posted the clip url of Frank because it is amazing to listen to. Barney Frank clearly states that "natural born" should not be a requirement to be president.

There you have a glimpse into the Democrat's thinking. They certified Obama with the idea that they would argue the constitutional requirement for "natural born" which is that he should be born in the US and that his parents should also is no longer applicable.

Well whether Barney likes it or not;the constitution says that the President Electee must be natural born.If Frank doesn’t like it he can pass an Amendmant to the Constitution.

Untill that time he can shut the hell up and follow the law.Something he has a big problem doing.

So instead of amending the Constitution, they’ll just ignore it.

That's the problem with Congress generally ... Cong. Jones or Sen. Smith proposes some bill which is purported to solve all the problems of the universe. Debate ensues: whether it's a good idea, whether it will do any or all of what it's supposed to do, what it will cost, etc.

Nobody EVER asks "do we even have the authority to do this?"

There has been a concerted effort since 2000 to try and take the 'natural born' out of the requirements. The effort has been from both "D" and "R" sources. But the most extensive effort was from democrat sources in 2004. It is therefore ironic that Leahy held Senate Judiciary Committee hearings to examine McCain's status, making the point that McCain was born of two American citizen parents and on American soil in the canal zone, so he fit natural born status!

Astonishingly, Obama signed onto the senate resolution yet he cannot fit what Leahy stated and still the democrap party put Obama up for their nominee because of his racial leverage.

Democrats do not have any reverence for the Constitution, it is an impediment, or was, before they abrogated the contract as they build the federal oligarchical rule in America.

If only there was some way to turn what one Congressman thought should be in the Constitution into an actual part of the Constitution. No, wait, he can by getting 2/3 of the House, 2/3 of the Senate and 3/4 of the states tov ote to change it.

As I understand it, neither Soetoro nor Jindal are eligible to be POTUS, based on the fact that one or both parents were not citizens of the US. Not that Congress or the SCOTUS would do anything to prevent it.

If it was put to a vote across Amerika today, I don't think it would pass (Natural Born requirement).

Just as in the recent elections over the past couple of cycles, there's so many Obamabots, blacks, illegals, dead, etc. that vote Democrat that would NEVER allow a rule like those found in the U.S. Constitution to stand....after all; in THEIR minds, it's a "Living Document", that should be brought up the their Liberal-taught mental midgetry that believes in "feedom of expression" and "freedom of lifestyle".

I am waiting for the first GI to step forward and refuse to deploy on “O’s” orders... challenging the ‘President’s’ authority to command ANY military personnel.

A properly vetted CIC goes through incredible soul-searching and gut-wrenching trauma (if he’s worth a da&^) in sending young people out to bleed or die for us ... how THIS ‘President’ does it is beyond me!! I am truly surprised that some trooper has not yet challenged the ‘President’s’ fitness to command.

No, he doesn’t “clearly state” that, that IS what his words mean, but your title is wrong, and so is your summary.

He clearly states that he “believes in the right of the people to choose as they wish”,

later he says...

Americans should be able to able “to elect as President of the United States someone they wish”. (it ends there)

Please clarify your titles, even if it means using parenthesis and adding a clarifyer, such as...(My Title)..or..(My Words)

These are the types of titles that the KOS kiddies and DUmmies have a field day with, and sometimes we see it repeated on msnbcnn, etc., making FR look like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Thank you, I now return you to your regularly scheduled slaying of the left.LOL

Orly’s websites are under constant attack by the anti-American, extremist, haters...the DNC and their Army of the Stupid. They are constantly reporting that they have picked up a virus and/or malware by visiting them. They have even been able to cause an infection of her sites, which then verifies that the site are or have been malicious.

If you have good protection, just continue on to the site, if in doubt, try the cached version, or the Internet Archive.

that "natural born" should not be a [constitutional] requirement to be president.

That is a perfectly valid opinion regardless of who proffers the opinion.

The issue comes down to how one goes about furthering their opinion. A Representative can propose an amendment to remove the restriction or just ignore the Constitution. Ignoring the Constitution appears to be the more popular method used by Barney Frank and his colleagues.

It is very similar to the constitutional restriction forbidding residents of Washington D. C. from voting. There are those in Congress who just lobby to ignore the Constitution in lieu of lobbing for an amendment.

I oppose all those who can’t find merit in the constitutional process. If the cause is noble why not use the noble process of constitutional amendment?
