It would be interesting to know what percentage of NFL players votes Republican.

Last year I was successful in cancelling my NFL Gameday package.

Just to make it so I won’t forget I’m boycotting ESPN as well as NFL games. Hate to miss my drag racing, but a line needs to be drawn.

Not exactly sure what the game day package is, but you likely canceled it before it started.

How about the hubris of people who publish false statements as the truth. How about the hubris of some African Americans who think they can make a charge of racism, and get anything they want? I’m through with people like this author at the “Village Voice”, who lie and expect us all to believe their lies.

Since the author has no respect for me or my beliefs, I have no respect for him - nor is he deserving of any.

Just remember, when you watch the game, that the participants have no respect for you or your conservative beliefs.

“This is one boycott that promises 100% failure.”

No one expects the NFL to shrivel up. It comes down to a question of personal principles versus three hours of time wasted.

Hockey’s a great game, and I would even go out on a limb and say that by and large the NHL has only minimal problems with thugery off the ice, certainly compared to the NFL and NBA.

“NFL can go to hell.” Gee that has a nice ring to it!

Yep, we should get groups together outside of football stadiums during game play and chant, "NFL can go to he**"!

Until it becomes the Nationalized Football League, I will remain a fan. Besides, the Vikings are 5-0 and well on their way to earning their 2nd NFL Title! By pushing Rush away, the NFL owners have postponed the eventual takeover by our Socialist Government. In my opinion, a brilliant move by an Elite group of Capitalists.

The Limbaugh thing doesn't bother me as much as the Breast Cancer awareness stuff one week followed by referees making penalty announcements in Spanish the next. The NFL has been a big part of my life for more than 50 years now, but if it transforms itself into a political organization I guess I'll have to part ways with it. In some ways I've been having similar thoughts about the United States of America.

PS I had a message on my answering machine from a HS friend who played QB at Michigan. He and I are constantly exchanging phone calls whenever the must watch sports events are on TV. Last night he told me that I might have to give him NFL reports because he wasn't sure if he would be watching anymore.

DeMaurice Smith, who leads the players association is a former associate of Atty Gen Holder. He will lead the players in a strike following the conclusion of this season as the players will try to end the salary cap. With any luck, it will be the end of the NFL, and millions of American men will be forced to grow up.

Rush built a business out of nothing. Irsay is a rockhead who inherited a team from his father.

Part with just the game on Sunday night.

I like that. I'm going to do this, unless the Giants are involved, for the remainder of the season.

If I didn't stop watching because of Michael Vick or Plaxigo Burgess, am I really going to stop because of this? Honestly.

I watch the Jets game, and that's about it. And I didn't even watch on Monday. I saw the score, figured that I lost the pool, and went to bed. (And then won the pool when another 21 points or so were scored.)

If I watched football...

Indeed. Don't watch, don't care.

Again, Rush should take his money and buy a Caribbean tobacco plantation and manufacture fine cigars.

If you can don't quit watching football over something that absolutely doesn’t involve is aimed at you directly, especially when even though the person involved directly claims heisn’t going to quit watching, then you probably weren’t a huge fan anyway.

I think it is rather presumptuous of you to state that those who have lost their taste for the NFL right now over their attack on Rush and his listeners are not "huge" fans.

Some of us are able to inconvenience ourselves just a tad bit over this even due to its principle.

If you want to continue patronizing the NFL, go ahead, your decision, I won't bash you and expect the same in return.
