Is it just me or does it seem wierd for the article to focus on the being locked in the closet versus being being beaten with electrical cords and bicycle chains?
An infant murderer and she only got six months in prison instead of the death penalty.
Thank God this kid was mentally healthy enough to escape and seek help from some outside authority.
The worst cases of abuse render children unable to leave abusive situations or defend themselves.
I noticed that and the mothers conviction for the death of her 2 year old seemed to be an afterthought like it was unrelated to this case.
The murder seemed like an afterthought for the sentencing judge also.
At the very least, she should be sterilized and never allowed near a child again.
