So will it spill further into Texas? Absolutely, says the drug smuggler. "It will in the future. It will escalate, escalate and continue to escalate," he said. What does he think about us reporting from Juarez? "You might as well write your last will and testament," he said. "There is no guarantee you're coming back."

The issue of controlling our borders is an issue of national security, making sure that we as a country are safe and that we maintain our viability as a nation.

Ditto that.
For those inquiring minds...let’s ask Texas, Arizona, San Diego, etc.

It’s a question of if, it already has. The question is, will those living along the southern border do what is necessary to protect their lives and towns?

W wouldn’t do anything about it either. I don’t know what’s going on or why our government won’t act, but they are dead set against it and have been for some time.

what was it a month and a half ago when the border-straddling UT-Brownsville had to be evacuated because of a shootout on the Mexican side and bullets were hitting the UT builsings?

It's not a question, it is a fact.
Mexican gangs operate in Atlanta, and many other big cities.
Mostly illegals, and mostly involved with drugs.
In California they are one of the biggest growers of marijuana, and the most violent.
It's not spilled over the border, our smarmy politicians have as much as invited them.
The murder rate in this country would go down dramatically if the border was recognized for the purpose it exists.

Only in certain places. The high murder rates in Detroit, New Orleans, and Chicago have next to nothing to do with illegals.

Will it spill over the border.... What planet are you on? It is all over California and the southwest. The local PC police chiefs and mayors simply choose to deep six the police blotter.

Well, yea.
I was talking about the murder rate in general, my post:
The murder rate in this country would go down dramatically if the border was recognized for the purpose it exists.
It would go down in Chicago if Obama's buddies weren't in charge there.

Hell, Mexican violence is pretty much the majority of violence in the Chicago area. It is a HUGE problem.

They must be talking about the US-Canadian border because Mexican drug related violence is already here in just about all of the 57 states (except Hawaii, Alaska and Kenya).
