They did it to Rush Limbaugh. Who will be next? I am sure Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and others on the Left are struggling to contain their overwhelming feelings of glee and power. They did it! Their campaign of lies and slander portraying Rush Limbaugh as a racist achieved its goal. Rush was dropped from a team bidding to purchase an NFL football team.
Rush's dismissal is a victory for political correctness, despicable reporting and high tech lynching. No need to fact check racist accusations against Rush, although a few researchers have pursued and failed to find the alleged racist statements. When it comes to Conservatives, the Left hangs them simply because they are Conservative.
The Limbaugh Incident has surely emboldened the Left to heighten their attacks on Conservatives. I wholeheartedly support Rush's decision to pursue legal measures to punish his slanderers . “The only thing needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”, Edmond Burke.
In the movie Pale Rider, a powerful bully using his many thug enforcers was attempting to steal land owned by humble prospectors. When Clint Eastwood, the pale rider came to town, he gave the prospectors courage to fight for their land. But Eastwood warned them, “Some of you are going to die”. And there lies the rub, to live in tyranny or risk all fighting for freedom.
Folks, we face a similar dilemma in America today. The Left killed Rush's dream of owning an NFL team. A liberal media lynch mob drug Rush's dream out into the public square and hung it by the neck until it was dead while the likes of Sharpton and Jackson laughed and cheered celebrating their victory.
Like the prospectors in the movie, if we do not fight for our freedom, we deserve to continue suffering under the tyrannous rule of political correctness. The Left keep beatin' up patriots on our side and getting away with it; Clarence Thomas, Sarah Palin, Carrie Prejean and many others. Our latest causality is Rush Limbaugh. I say, “Enough!”
We Conservatives realize this attack on Limbaugh is really an attack on us all. It is time we draw a line in the sand. We must not “go gentle into that good night”. Our side has brilliant minds and logical thinkers. By nature, we Conservatives do the right thing even when it is difficult, rather than making cowardly liberal choices based on feelings. It's called having a back bone and true compassion.
So, I ask you. How can we fight back? Do we need a Pale Rider Clint Eastwood type to lead the way? I think we have one. His name is Rush Limbaugh.
While the liberal media found Rush guilty of racism without evidence, his real crime is being a Conservative. I am a black man inspired by Rush to verbally confront liberals, “Do you feel lucky today, punk...well, do ya?”

How about us doing it to Soros and that whole group who wants to buy the Rams? Soros should no where near the NFL because salary cap will mean nothing to the lowlife.
It will backfire and it already is.
I think Rush was asked to join the group and did not himself have rights or powers regarding his own future beyond a potential opportunity to invest.
This speaks to the radicalism of the other team owners that would threaten this purchase if Rush were there.
Maybe if they don’t like conservatives, then conservatives should not sponsor or patronize them either.

Yeah, and look who’s calling the shots: The lying, Twana Brawley-fraud, race hustler Sharpton, and the senior race-hustling, bastard child engendering Jackson. Fine role models, fine societal arbiters they have going there.
The issue is not with the NFL owners. It is with CNN and other media outlets who should be sued for libel if they cannot offer proof of Limbaugh's alleged comments.
The filthy DemonRats are going to end up choking on this and Rush’s efforts on this are not over yet. I hope he handles it to EXPOSE THE RACISM, LIBERALISM AND HATE POLITICS of the radical DemonRats.

Just called Cox Cable and removed the channel tier that included the NFL Network. If I had Sunday Ticket I would have canceled that as well. I still spitting mad. I’m donating what I would have paid for that channel to Free Republic. I recommend my fellow Freepers do the same.

Yep, and it ain't over till Rush says it's over.
True conservatives are ideologues who are motivated by ideas that have nothing to do with race. We are guilty of telling people to get over race, to forget race, and move onto bigger and better things. Rush exemplifies our attitude towards race, and the left hates him for it. The left revels in race, wallows in race, makes everything about race, because the left needs race to drive wedges between Americans, because the left needs hate and divisions to perpetuate their assault on liberty.
While the liberals may see this as a win, my gut tells me that most Americans are sick of being a presumed racist because they have conservative values. As Rand says, we must reject this unearned guilt and let it fall on deaf ears.
Rush is surely pained by the attacks on him, but he has good thick skin, and knows that *he* is not diminished by the hate speech. The *wonderful* thing about hatred is that it consumes the *hater*, not the *hated*. Go Rush!!!

Oh, I think they’re going to rue the day they went after Rush on this issue. He has the money and the personal and professional strength to go after them. I’d love to see him sue the pants off every single one of those media commentators who have repeated those comments Rush supposedly made, without even bothering to ‘source’ the comments. It was their full intention to harm him, professionally, with their libel and slander, and they need to face the consequences for doing so.

Well, who is believing those stories?
If the NFL owners manned up and had the accusations vetted, then manned up again and say that “CNN and other media outlets” are full of hogwash on this issue and they are glad to have Rush Limbaugh on board, they would get a lot of cheers from the conservative half of America.
I wonder, though, if this is only an excuse and the existing owners are afraid that Rush might get a bit Dutch Uncle about shenanigans by the team players.
I am absolutely going to boycott the NFL.. I get enough football anyway. We need to take a page out of their playbook and start “shaking down” these organizations and the businesses that support them.. I am researching all advertisers and will boycott them. We do not realize the power we have.
The NFL is the most financially sound of the four major sports. It is not going to suffer financially from a boycott by several thousand freepers.
I can’t wait to display my “FREE LIMBAUGH” placard.

People here and elsewhere should consider going through everything in public records that NFL owners have said in fact versus the fabrication slave stories they claimed Rush made.
