WIMPS, Intolerance: Reports Say Limbaugh Dropped By NFL Group (Left Lynch Mob Alert)
Debbie Schlussel ^ | 10/14/2009 | Debbie Schlussel

We’re truly in an age of intolerance–by leftists, Muslims, former hippies, minority groups, etc. You can’t hold mainstream conservative American values in America and be a prominent voice for them without coming repeatedly under attack. Apparently, a Nazi far-leftist, Soros, is more acceptable.

The Left Lynch Mob in action. They managed to bar Rush Limbaugh from being a football team owner. Its a sad day for America!

I was eager to see what happened when Jerry Jones had an ally against the revenue sharing structure of the NFL in Rush.

But then again, the Rams surely benefit greatly from revenue sharing (at least these days.) Has he addressed that issue? OTOH, I’m against it but on the other, I think the NFL product is unparalleled due - in part - to it.

But we send terrorists to Bermuda at our expense.

The left excoriates Clarence Thomas.

Refers to Michael Steele as an oreo cookie because he is married to a white woman.

We refers to jews as diamond merchants.

We spit in the food of white people while working in a restaurant.

We allow the likes of these people to sit in judgement of conservatives.

There will be punishment for this outrage.

Rush has been maliciously libeled by CNN and MSNBC with their fake quotes. I would love to see them sued for damages by Rush.

I for one don’t plan to watch anymore NFL for a long time.

This is my thought as well. Rush may well make more money from this that he could have ever made if he had actually purchased an interest in the team.

I will add one more thought, this is the act of truly evil, despicable individuals who are lower than pond scum. These purveyors of hatred are willing to lie and destroy any person who disagrees with them and they do so joyfully.

In my book anyone who take pleasure and joy from destroying another individual for no other reason than to promote themselves and their own twisted agenda is evil. I lack the vocabulary to express my revulsion for people like Jesse Jackass and Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpy.

It isn't Christian, but I genuinely wouldn't P on them if they were on fire. I would probably break out the marshmellows.

An Outrage [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

Rush Limbaugh is not an acceptable sports investor because of his politics. How else to interpret the state of a sports world where Keith Olbermann can be on Sunday Night Football and Rush Limbaugh’s hard-earned money can’t be spent as a partial owner of a team in a sport he loves?

From ESPN:

Rush Limbaugh is expected to be dropped from a group bidding to buy the St. Louis Rams, according to three NFL sources.

Dave Checketts, chairman of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues and the point man in the Limbaugh group attempting to buy the Rams, realizes he must remove the controversial conservative radio host from his potential role as a minority member in the group in order to get approval from other NFL owners, the sources said.

Three-quarters of the league’s 32 owners would have to approve any sale to Limbaugh and his group. Earlier this week, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay predicted that Limbaugh’s potential bid would be met by significant opposition. Several players have also voiced their displeasure with Limbaugh’s potential ownership position, and NFL Players Association head DeMaurice Smith, who is black, urged players to speak out against Limbaugh’s bid.

Ultimately, the sources said, Checketts must reconfigure his group and find another investor to make his bid more viable.

This is the new “McCarthyism” that the left has always guarded so diligently against, only instead of a “Hollywood blacklist”, it’s a conservative blacklist. But go ahead libs, let them go after the horrible conservatives, as long as it’s not you, right?

To sit back hoping that someday, some way, someone will make things right is to go on feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last - but eat you he will.

Rush should sue and he does have a case. I studied this and a celebrity can sue for libel if he proves malice aforethought. Now, can he get a court to agree. He’d have to go judge shopping but he should sue the crap out of them!

It amazes me that the NFL can tell an owner who he can and cannot sell to. Rush needs to get M. Vick on board as a part owner. It would fly through!

It’s time that Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin and others conservatives who are being libeled by the MSM start taking legal action and sue them into oblivion, where they belong.

The STL Post Dispatch, CNN and MSNBC all printed or broadcast quotes that Rush never made, which damaged his reputation and is a major reason why he was dropped from the team of investors.

He should sue for loss of income, damages to his reputation and any thing else he can sue for.

It’s time the MSM starts paying for their irresponsible actions.

CNN fact checks a SNL skit about Obama, but doesn’t bother to fact check quotes that Limbaugh never made.

CBS tried to slander Bush with the Air National Guard forged documents a month before an election, during war time.

Enough is enough!

YOU WROTE: "It’s time that Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin and others conservatives who are being libeled assassinated by the MSM start taking legal action and sue them into oblivion, where they belong."

I changed that word not to make a joke but to point out that we are in a real "shooting" war now with the media and the White House.

They are playing for keeps and we need to behave appropriately, both in defense and in offense IMO.
