Are you OK?
There was a small screwup in our shipping department, so you'll be soon receiving seven metric tons of squid flakes. Our okra has been sent to Iraq. Sorry.
Sizzling. makes ya hanker for a BLT ..can she cook? ;-)
JJ loves Charlotte.. Will the Charlotte track return the favour yet again?
Dunno. I gotta come up with a opinion tomorrow night though :o)
Yark, or “an opinion.”
I need a vacation.
Will you tell Norm to find some Cherokee Purple Tomatoes at a farmers market for his BLTs...
Yessir, in the same manner a Vette can do 160 parked :o)

We have lots of blowing winds. Lots of power outages. Big 7 car/truck wreck in the dust with one or more fatalities.
I’m OK, THX for asking.
Cool loooking tomatoes. I was just pondering a shopping list. bacon, tomatoes, lettuce
I still have quite a few races with quite a few good drivers left.. fingers crossed..
Y’all sent yer dust this way. Coming home from the brainfarm was a real chore today. Makes me wonder if we’ll have to pay extra property taxes to the county south of us for the earth swept up here by the wind ...
Well, you’ll need mayo and perhaps some thin sliced Vidalias.
I have only dregs of drivers left. My good drivers shafted me on the races I picked them. It’s a conspiracy, I tells ya!
Had some 60+ mph winds here, though we’ve had worse, it’s still pretty ugly. So far no measurable rain.
a lot of good it did for me here too.. lousy luck .. lousy this year, worse than last year
Her? Who? Huh?
Wait, what?
I was just pondering about a snack. You made me realize I have all that plus Hellmans.
In fact this will be my last fresh tomatoes for the year from my porch. Thanks for the idea.

My, that is a green map!
I’m here!! Too late for the okra, though.....
I’ll settle for cheesy poofs though.....
OK, I know what I’d be having for lunch.
Why did Canada have to screw up their bacon?
BTW, I'm starting to believe the Mexican driving a Cheby can win this thing.
Thank you glock rocks for a great-looking thread.
Ten reasons to like NASCAR:

Is your head above water?
I see my old stomping grounds in Monterey County got 85 MPH gusts and 21.34” of rain.
Our high here yesterday was 33.1 degrees but it’s warmed up this morning and the sleet/freezing rain/snow has turned to all rain.
Change your drivers today, y’all.
Just checked in for Hall of Fame. And so begins the day. Presentations @ 10 am Eastern. Voting in afternoon.
We had 1.3 inches in the past 24 hours plus the .3 in the prior 24 and that brings our season rainfall up to 2.6 which is 110% of normal. Our low temp was 59 and the high was 67 here on the ramblingBender estate. Wife’s sister leaves at 2:15 today so we will have time to get some pictures of a replica of a Chinese sailing ship that came into port for shelter from the storm. We didn’t have the high seas I expected but they could still develop...
Hey Buddy!
Looks like you ‘n’ me will be trading some paint.
Just keep your hand signals to yourself and keep to the left as I pass you. I could not believe how far you fell in one race as I thought you had it wrapped up and the rest of us were racin for second place...
Those re-starts with the ensuing wrecks killed me.
Still have some starts for JJ, MM and Flash as well as one each for Juablo, Smoke and Hamlin and a couple for KuBu, KK and a few others.
We will see what we will see.
Sounds like decent weather considering the imminent doom forecasts.
Hope you had a nice visit and she has a decent flight home.
I’m getting pretty lean on several drivers but their names will remain confidential to protect tubebender’s innocence. However, when the fickle-finger-of-fate strikes no driver is safe.
Just read an article on Crespy Creme/Dunkin Donuts. Dunkin Donuts are hard to find in Oregon and it shocked us when we were in the Northeast last fall to see the saturation w/that franchise. Good donuts and reasonably good coffee were served, we found out. It’s about the only thing I’m an expert on, coffee & donuts.
Didn’t want to talk about the fantasy league while I was leading, but now that I’m back scratchin’ and clawin’, look out!!!
The good racin’ luck that I’ve had this season abandoned me last Sunday. That “fickle-finger-of-fate” will certainly come into play as the Chase winds down.
PS, hdx2, just a little checking on previous races will reveal those “confidential” names.
};^)
You think I didn't know that? Have you tried the potato donut recipe yet...
Not yet, but oouuuuuu:

5 minute old donuts at 3:00am is one reason I used to weigh 50 pds more then I do now.
Well with that one line you jinxed her travel plans as flights out of SFO to DIA are in turmoil and they could not guarantee a flight for her, soooooo I will be putting on another 5 pounds as all reasonable diets are out the window another day at least
You are quite welcome. :)
Was afraid she might have to fly into the same thing that just blew through there. It's better she wait a day or two and let it get over here first.
Mrs. Happydog is still a go to land early this evening. It’ll be nice to have her back, this chain is heavy.
Inaugural NASCAR inductees are Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Junior Johnson, Bill France Sr. & Bill France Jr.
That's a department directive at work. OTOH, running a mile and a half in 15 minutes is another. Sheesh, talk about cognitive dissonance...
It takes my first wife and her faithful dog 50 minutes to slow walk 3 miles between 5AM and 5:50AM unless out first daughter joins her and then it varies according to the mental baggage FD is packing that morn...
out = OUR, but you knew that and wasn’t going to belittle me THIS TIME were you!!!
I’m off duty and have a cold Jack on my desk. Try that at 0400 and I’ll tie your shoelaces together, pal.
