Catholic justices challenged to live their faith

gavel2A prominent pro-life organization has thrown down the gauntlet before a majority of the U.S. Supreme Court justices.

The Supreme Court's fall/winter session is just gettingunder way. The challenge comes from Judie Brown, president of the American Life League (ALL).

"Now that we have six people on the Supreme Court out of nine who claim to be Catholic," she notes, "we'd like for them to take the opportunity to address the reality of who it is who lives in the womb from the moment that his or her life begins, and then take action to overrule themselves so that the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions are no longer -- quote, unquote -- 'the law of the land.'"

Judie Brown ALLAccording to Brown, some government officials believe they are living two lives -- one as a government worker and the second as a person of faith -- and that the two lives do not mix. The long-time pro-life leader has a message for those who live that message.

"It's just as ridiculous as telling someone that you're going to leave your religion at the door when you go to work in the Post Office," says Brown. "I mean, your religion is an inherent part of your identity as a human being -- and either your faith goes with you everywhere, or you don't really have faith."

The ALL president says the justices especially need to make sure that the natural laws are the foundation of all laws in this country, and that those laws which do not concur with the natural law are overturned. She believes the most egregious of such laws are the decisions that legalized abortion.

There is a reason Jesus wasn’t given to us as a king, politician, warrior, judge, high priest, ect.

We’re just peeing into the wind with these pro-abortion “Catholics.” They consider the church as a club they belong to, not a religion to believe . . . as do most Catholics.

Unless and until they are publicly denied the sacraments and excommunicated with a lot of fanfare, nothing will be done by them or the church. The mere fact that a murderer like Kennedy who never saw an abortion bill that he didn’t like, could have a funeral in a Catholic church, says it all. Shame on the Catholic Church.

Consider that the Southern Baptists kicked Greer out of their church (remember Terri?). Whereupon Greer and his wife showed their true colors, wailing as if they had been dropped from a social club. They had never been there for God in the first place like they were supposed to be. Would that certain other, er, Christian organizations concerned about life issues would do something similar.
