The White House has confirmed that President Obama will personally come to Oslo to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, and the capital is gearing up for the visit, including the massive security arrangements which will have to be made.
The presentation will be made at a ceremony at the Oslo City Hall on December 10th, and the security will be a challenge.
However, Oslo Mayor Fabian Stang bids the US president heartily welcome:
- Clinton has visited us earlier, and I am sure that the police and the municipal authorities will solve that problem in a good way, Stang says.
Oslo police Chief Anstein Gjengedal admits that he wishes he had more time to make his preparations, and that he needs more money. He forecasts even stricter security than during Clinton's visit in 2003.
With all that love, why the need for so much security?

Although I liked Norway quite a bit, mainly the countryside and the fjords (which are astounding!) Oslo I must say is one of more bland cities I have been to. *Fiendishly* expensive. Beer in a bar = $10. That’s plenty of reference right there.

Silly question, the First Lady will precede Zer0's visit to do some shopping, dining and enjoying uncounted refreshments with Her group. The real question is: Will Oprah go this time too?
She'll probably stay beyond Zer0's time in Norway, then stop by Paris and London for more shopping, dining and enjoying uncounted refreshments with Her group.

been to Norway 9 times and lived there on and off.
Spent most time near Bergan which is a nice place , the northern lights, the countryside, the fjords etc are great, the women are beautiful but Oslo is just bland.
Maybe that freeloading wife of his will go to stop any Norweigan woman even looking at her husband along with getting another free vacation.
Then she will bring all the freeloaders, like cuz, mother ion law etc
meanwhile I am struggling to pay bills and look to get cheap food for my family.
