Tea Party at Tucson Electric Park with pictures.
J.D. Hayworth spoke while I was there as did Judge Andrew Napolitano and James T. Harris whipped things up near the end.
Parking was pretty full. Lots of eeeevil SUVs and pickups. Some of them had bumper stickers associated with Right Wing Domestic Terrorists. Like military service decals, NRA membership stickers, and bumper stickers and decals affirming Christian faith.

Pretty good crowd.

My Favorite sign.

Some other signs:.

It was mainly a sit down event so there wasn't as much crowd activity as the April 15 Tea Party. It was enthusiastic and well behaved with lots of patriotic themed apparel.
There were a lot more political candidates in attendance than the one on April 15. I'm not sure that's a good thing.
and this from the Arizona Red Star too. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2359723/posts
Pics from the tea Party at TEP today. I saw Tucsonican was anybody else there?
Good looking mob. Nothing more patriotic than bashing socialism at a American baseball field.
How I wish I could’ve been there. Personal stuff has us in Virginia right now.
Thanks for the pictures....looks like a great crowd!
Sad thing is last night on one of the local news stations they mentioned the Gay Pride parade and not the Tea Party.
I’ll bet there were four times as many Tea Party attendees than there were tea baggers at the pervert parade.
I really enjoy these. It’s good to know we’re not alone.
I couldn’t make it there until after 11 AM so I only got a small dose of it.
I hope somebody emerges to challenge McPain from his Right.
I did a search before I started on thisone. You must have posted it while I was working on mine.
Were you there?
Nice crowd! Great pictures! Thanks for what you all do for Americans! :o)
I read that JD Hayworth was considering running against McCain. Have you heard that too?
hopefully JD will do it.
I’ve heard nothing about him running for senator. J. D. did sound pretty good at the Tea Party.
Doesn’t mean too much to me. He’s a politician. That’s what they do.
Hey, Hey!!
Good job on the pics!
The crowd was pretty good sized although I don’t think we got too close to the 10K we hoped for.
It’s reassuring to see this kind of thing come off with relatively little promotion. We get NADA from the media so the main info outlet is emails and word of mouth.
I hung out around the candidate tents quite a bit and I’ve got to say that I’m hearing better questions at every event. These crowds are just chock full of really bright people who KNOW what it is that they are looking for and are DEMANDING it from the folks that want to represent them.
Good to see you today. See my post 6 about the media.
Were you impressed at all with any of the candidates?
Don’t forget to contact me about saving on range fees.
Sierra Vista
It is a good thing if they are in attendance, it's not a good thing if they are allowed to speak, they need to be there to listen.
McCain, Kyl, Grijalva, Governor Brewer, CD 24 reps, County Supervisors, Yuma City Council, and Mayor are all going to get a formal invitation to the next Yuma Tea Party. It will be made plain in the invitation that they don't get to speak. A list of who didn't attend will be sent to whomever wants one, and will be announced on the local talk radio show.
One of our County Supervisors, and the candidate running against the current Mayor, have both attended all three Yuma Tea Partys, we have seen no other elected officails at any of the Tea Partys.
We The People used to have a much louder voice than politicians until the advent of radio, TV, and electronic amplifiers.
Can you imagine Gabby Giffords trying to shout down her townhall attendees without loudspeakers?
"Seen and not heard" is not just for children. And for the same reason.
I talked to Simcox a little bit and he's a great guy but I'm afraid that he's carrying too much baggage. JD Hayworth may end up being a better choice when McCain's seat comes up.
With regard to the media I really didn't see any around although ADS did a piece and must have been there.
True!
Gabby Giffords might be a better choice than McPain. At least with her we know she’s on their side.
McPain pretends to be on OUR side. The Enemy Within is always more dangerous than the openly hostile one.
Well I can certainly see the logic in promoting mentally ill people’s pride about abusing their cornholes over standing up for our nation’s foundational principles. What could possibly be more beneficial for America than promoting solidarity among the sodomites? Is this country through the f-—ing looking glass or what?
I was there; I got to talk to JD; he said read Sonoran Alliance; looks like he’s thinking of running against McCain.
Giffords needs to go away no matter what she's running for. She is TOTALLY under the thumb of the Democrat party and, based on what I have heard from her and her responses to my questions, she's a pretty damned dim bulb.
McCain is totally institutionalized. His entire decision making process revolves around what will bring in the most money for the RNC. It's pathetic. Hayworth MIGHT be a better choice but, one way or another, we need to work on making sure that “elected official” becomes a less and less desirable career path.
Anybody would be better than McRino. J.D. sounds good but I wonder what would happen to him if he got 6 year terms and stayed in DC more.
