Sarah Palin welcomes home Strykers, including son (Video at Link)

FAIRBANKS, Alaska -- Former Gov. Sarah Palin attended Thursday afternoon's welcome home ceremony for the 1st Stryker Brigade from Fort Wainwright at the Carlson Center.
The appearance is Palin's first in the United States since resigning her office in July. Palin's oldest son, Track, is a member of the brigade that recently returned from a yearlong deployment in Iraq.
Current Gov. Sean Parnell, who took over for Palin, was among the officials scheduled to speak at the Thursday afternoon public event.
A memorial unveiled Wednesday at Fort Wainwright bears the names of 12 soldiers who died during the deployment. Seven were stationed at Fort Wainwright and five were attached to the brigade.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports the monument also bears the name of a dog, Sgt. Jok, killed by a bomb while searching a house.

There is some video coming down to C4P from the live feed that apparently shows Palin getting mobbed by the troops at the end of the ceremony.

Thanks for this great post and yeah, quite a difference in the faces of our wondrous troops in the Commander in Chief photo versus the Communist and Thief photo.
Sad, isn't it. Heartbreaking. I cannot STOMACH what uhbama and his filthy crew are doing to our military....what a bunch of kindergarten thugs they all are, totally oblivious to the incredible job our brave soldiers endure.
