NORTHERN WEST BANK – Training received at current American-run courses for Palestinian militia men will likely be utilized in the not too distant future to kill Israelis, U.S.-trained Palestinian gunmen told WND in an exclusive, in-person interview this week.
WND met seven members of the Palestinian Authority security forces who recently received training at U.S.-run bases as part of a stated effort to reform the PA's militias. All seven of the interview subjects formerly were leaders of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist group; some are suspected of still being involved with Brigades activities. They were all granted amnesty by Israel as part of a gesture to bolster PA President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah organization against Hamas.
The meeting took place at a restaurant in a northern West Bank city that had been known as one of several major strongholds of the Brigades, the declared military wing of Fatah responsible for scores of suicide bombings and deadly shootings against Israeli civilians.
The pardoned gunmen agreed to speak on condition their names be withheld and that WND does not print the name of the city in which the meeting took place, citing concerns over their current jobs in the PA's U.S.-backed security forces.
Some of the men present are notorious Brigades members.
Asked immediately why they agreed to be interviewed, one former Brigades leader replied, "Because we know people call us Dayton's poodles, and we want everyone to know that in the next intifada we will be the leaders."

Holy crap!
We should just come home. From everywhere. We need to stop trying to make everyone love us.
Open up the factories, put people to working making stuff.
And make lots of bullets. Lots and lots of bullets.
RE :”Open up the factories, put people to working making stuff.”
Cost too much to make anything here. The elected have promised us so much it killed the golden goose. Obama promised a tax increase on businesses would stop jobs from going over-seas, now he says we shouldnt want these jobs.
Its funny. Go around to most younger people and they do not know how to “do” anything.
I keep telling my kids and their friends, be able to “do” something, or “make” something. When you lose your high tech service job, you will be able to eek out a meager living by producing something.
I left my senior management job eight years ago because I could fall back on a skill that had been developed since I was 13 years old. Now I am making as much as I did back then, and I am dependent on no corporation for my living.
Lets start teaching kids how to do and how to make. Or we will die a slow and slavish death as a culture.

This country is headed for a disastrous future and it's not just democrats that caused it, but hopefully will get most of the blame. I remember a debate in early Clinton and it was conservatives back then that defended high paying service jobs over low paying manufacturing jobs. I think Clinton was pushing job training by government. (democrats wanted manufacturing because its easier to unionize and make like government, but that pushed them over-seas)
The standard of living is going to drop. A shame neither party has a long term strategy to use that for planning the future(not politically acceptable). You see imports and immigration keeps inflation down whole the feds are printing money (except some things, energy, food, ...)

No, GWB initiated the program to arm and train the palestinians. Fully aware that the arms might be used against Israel, as Robert Gates acknowledged at the time.
How do these “Americans” get into Israel? And if Israel lets them in why should I be so upset?
